Quiet and so far in order
The tip has nothing to do with the campsite. I would just like to take the opportunity. We were victims of an attempted mirror trick on the SP 237 towards Noci. Don't stop when there's a sudden bang. A white Audi A3 then appeared and, gesticulating wildly, suggested that we had damaged its wing mirror.... I made it clear that this wouldn't work with us. He turned quickly into a side road and broke off the "pursuit". The blow was heavy and the damage was not insignificant. There are several dents in the sliding door.

Nice quiet CP with lots of shade
We chose this spot because of its proximity to the trulli houses. We were able to choose our own pitch. There is plenty of shade and space to "spread out" in the small wood. The sanitary facilities offer showers with hot water at no extra charge and everything else you need. Communication also works wonderfully in English.

You can easily reach the town on foot from the site. It is located next to a park/forest, almost all pitches shady, partly very uneven terrain. At night you can hear a lot of dogs barking (but in my opinion this is usual in Italy, on weekends there is a slight noise from some disco, but absolutely ok).

The cats running around!!!
Good for a visit to the trulli houses, but...
The location is of course ideal for visiting the trulli houses. You can walk there in a few minutes, even if there is unfortunately no real footpath, but you walk along the road. The reception was nice and you get some information about the trulli. The pitches are very uneven and not very attractive.... The sanitary facilities are as we know in the south of Italy, let's call it "simple". However, they were clean during our stay. However, what really bothered us about the site were the cats running around everywhere. They are very intrusive and also climbed around our garbage hanging in the tree. Even during the meal, at least three of them were constantly buzzing around the table. We could count at least five cats. I don't think something like that belongs on a campsite and found it very annoying. Hence a clear deduction in the stars.
