- 3.0BBBarbara B.Iulie 20263.0BBBarbara B.Iulie 2026PlusuriNatural area with treesMinusuriI had to pay an electricity fee because I was parked in a spot with an electrical hookup even though I didn’t use any electricity! The pet waste disposal area was full. At 10:20 p.m., we weren’t allowed to brush our teeth in the shower area where the sinks are! There are only two sinks in the restroom! An environmental fee that isn’t listed on the website.Welcome, everyoneIt would be a nice place if people would work together. If the website listed all the information, including the reception's hours.
As it is, the stay leaves a bad taste in my mouth.Tradus automat.Niciun turist nu a considerat utilă această evaluare. Fii primul! - 1.0
Dominique S.Aprilie 20251.0Dominique S.Aprilie 2025PlusuriLocationMinusuriHomeRun away!Great location, terrible reception.
I hope Madame was having a bad day, otherwise it's going to be a long season for her!
It's a shame, because we'd love to come back and enjoy this beautiful region.
And above all, don't forget to read and reread the rules and regulations (you'll be asked for them several times during your stay....).

Good sanitary facilities.MinusuriThe WLAN only reaches around the reception and constantly breaks down. You should be careful with the pitches. We had pitch 45, which is directly opposite the entrance to the military area. There is truck traffic here 24 hours a day, which you can hear all too well. Other pitches are quieter. The reception is poorly staffed, you have to be lucky to meet someone.Good campsiteIf you pay attention to the choice of pitch, this is a good pitch with good value for money.Tradus automat.Niciun turist nu a considerat utilă această evaluare. - 1.0EMElenie M.Iulie 20171.0EMElenie M.Iulie 2017PlusuriQuiet, central locationMinusuriFallsche billing, sanitary facilities closed for a long time and still dirty, unkempt trees prevent driving on the pathsNot recommended! The site is in a great location, quiet and close to nature. Unfortunately, the trees are unkempt and obstruct higher vehicles when driving through the site. The sanitary facilities are closed several hours a day and are very dirty. At the reception you are charged for things you never used. Too bad about the great location, but I can not recommend the place at all.Tradus automat.Niciun turist nu a considerat utilă această evaluare. Fii primul!
- 3.0CFChristian F.Decembrie 20163.0CFChristian F.Decembrie 2016PlusuriFriendly, easily accessibleMinusuriShady and cold in winter with blue skies, reception only sparsely staffed between Christmas and New Year.Very lonely in the low season. Almost only shade in winterWe were there between Christmas and New Year. Apart from us, there was not a single other caravan/motorhome. The reception is only manned in the evening between 5 and 7 pm and is very friendly. They opened the toilets especially for us, although one toilet would have been enough for us. Due to the location,... there is practically only shade in winter, although it is sunny and warm on the opposite slope. You have to go into the village to get some sun. It's cold at the campsite! Unfortunately, they no longer officially have ACSI rates because they always had to justify their rates. (27.-SFr, but including everything: electricity and visitor's tax) We were grateful that we could get plenty of electricity, because without additional heating it would have been too cold even in the winter-proof WW. We came for the ACSI rate because it was still on offer at the time, and it was close to the ski resorts, where it's high season everywhere else. The toilet facilities are perfectly clean and well maintained.Tradus automat.Niciun turist nu a considerat utilă această evaluare. Fii primul!

WC/showers always cleanMinusuriPartly run-down infrastructure and reception mostly not manned/closed. Extra price for awning is a cheekBeautifully situated, quiet place, a bit run downVery nicely situated site with trees and pretty pitches. Unfortunately, there are many defective infrastructures, e.g. broken play equipment, bathing pool and TV. Children's play area rather unkempt. Short reception opening hours. Residential area with very outdated facilities, but separate from the rest of the campsite. Some pitches were closed due to stony groundTradus automat.Niciun turist nu a considerat utilă această evaluare. Fii primul!
- 2.0SBStefan B.August 20152.0SBStefan B.August 2015PlusuriIdyllic locationMinusuriPrices are outrageous, pure rip-off, no customer friendliness at all, no service orientation. Opening hours. Never again! An outrageous rip-off!At the end of August 2015, I booked the Balmweid campsite in Meiringen for one night for two people with a tent and car as part of the Alpenbrevet (cycling event). We were then recommended the extensive sportsman's breakfast. The price of CHF 18 for breakfast shocked us, but we had to have a proper breakfast... before our big bike tour, so we booked it. What awaited us the next morning was an outrage beyond compare! There was practically no choice, no fresh muesli - just one loveless thing in the packaging, very little cheese and meat and the bread was still frozen on the inside!!!! There was also not enough seating, so we had to "enjoy" our breakfast outside at 5:30 in the morning. We gave up after two attempts to get fresh bread - for 18 francs this breakfast was really outrageous! You don't even pay prices like that in a hotel! The additional prices are another minus point: During the bike tour we had to pay 10 francs for our car parking. Charging your cell phone costs extra!!!! If you didn't comply, you had to pay a fine! No joke! In addition, almost no waste garbage cans on the site. But also the opening hours of the reception show that the operators obviously do not care about the well-being of the guests.Tradus automat.Niciun turist nu a considerat utilă această evaluare. The entire facility is in a very unkempt, neglected condition. What a pity. - 2.0SMSusi M.Iunie 20112.0SMSusi M.Iunie 2011In our opinion in no way corresponds to a 4 star place. The small swimming pool was empty and quite neglected. The whole place makes a somewhat neglected impression. Poor opening hours at the reception. Closed all day on Tuesday! No barrier at the entrance to the campsite. Daniel C.August 20104.0Daniel C.August 2010Large and well-equipped reception and sanitary building. Many pitches are under/near trees, so plenty of shade. The sound of the waterfall is always audible. Only a few permanent campers present at the end of August and a handful of short-term campers. Free WLAN in the immediate vicinity of the reception... building. Power points are well and frequently distributed. Also water points for fresh water. Ideally located as a starting point for hikers. Dogs are welcome and can also be cleaned up in the adjacent wood.Tradus automat.Niciun turist nu a considerat utilă această evaluare. Fii primul!
