Good sites, great clean plumbing, delicious bread and great restaurant. You can bike well around the down and take the boat to different places. In short, a campsite where you like to go as a seasoned camper camper camper.

small campsite in the park of a very nice hotel, very well managed, a fantastic garden, very nice pool, whirlpool, directly at the lake, beautiful planting, partly large trees, a large part of the places has shade, the places are different in size, but always big enough, we (2 persons) were there with a camper, very clean sanitary facilities, good restaurant with good price/performance ratio, you can have breakfast and also eat in the evening with the hotel guests after reservation, wonderful terrace and also winter garden, price with Acsi-Card 28.- Euro per day.

Feeling almost like being by the sea, restaurant and pool also open in the off-season. Nearest village very easy to reach by bike. Good shopping facilities. The mini market at the campsite is closed in the low season. Everyone is very friendly. Great restaurant :-) Sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean, cleaned several times a day. A renovation/modernization would be necessary, but it is still ok.

Superb place by the lake
We were thrilled. We had booked in advance and used the informative site plan to book pitch H5 - simply fantastic, with views of the beautiful lake from all sides.
The restaurant is also to be recommended.
Only the walk to Passignano could be better, but the campsite can't help that.
In summer, the site... would probably be too small and too noisy for me, but in the low season it's fantastic. The many Dutch people are striking.
We will definitely be back.

Not open until mid-November, no water and sewage connections on the pitches (distances for this are quite long), not a large selection of baked goods in the morning and not the best in terms of taste either
Perfect place at the end of the season
We ended up at this campsite by chance and were completely satisfied. The site is lovingly designed and very well maintained. As we were there towards the end of the season, it was very quiet. The weather was also great. The site is ideal if you want to go sightseeing in Tuscany and of course Umbria... during the day. You can also use the train for this, as there is a station in Passignano itself. The campsite is located just outside the town, which can be easily reached by bike via a cycle path (approx. 10 minutes). There are two small supermarkets here and a few bars, restaurants, pizzerias and ice cream parlors along the promenade and in the town itself. There is a great pizzeria with typical regional dishes a few meters on foot from the campsite. There are also various supermarkets in nearby Magione for bulk shopping. Unfortunately, there is no possibility to buy food on the campsite itself. It's also great that you can cycle around the lake or go on beautiful tours. We will definitely be back, but not in the main season. Due to the conditions, we think it can get very noisy and crowded in summer.

Beautiful place with lots of charm!
We stayed at the campsite for four nights as a young couple with a dog and we were simply thrilled. The campsite itself is right on the beautiful lake. It has a beach for guests with and without dogs. It also has a beautiful pool with a great view. The campsite itself is quiet and mostly shady. The whole... place is lovingly decorated with potted plants. The only downside is that you can hear the trains passing through if you are high up. The sanitary facilities and the whole campsite are always well cleaned and maintained. (cleaned at least 3 times a day) All waste garbage cans were emptied several times a day. From our very first call we were served very cheerfully, as well as at reception and all "special requests" were fulfilled as far as possible. Even the boss is not too shy to help out. The best thing at the end: the gastronomy, the restaurant which belongs to it is wonderful, the service leaves nothing to be desired, is fast, competent and has a lot of charm! The food itself has surpassed everything, there are usually large portions at top prices. The food was sensational and surpassed everything we have ever experienced on campsites. We really enjoyed this day and will definitely go there again!

Beautifully situated. As you can park your car in the parking lot at the entrance, there are plenty of spaces. Sanitary facilities clean and well maintained. Restaurant very good. Only by bike to the village is not very good, but on the right side good bike path along the lake.

Beautiful campsite, but extremely noisy with a tent or high roof
The friendliness, cleanliness and location of the campsite are particularly positive. The restaurant is also highly recommended. We had a pitch right by the water. There is a road, the train tracks and then the highway in the immediate vicinity. Despite the best earplugs, the nights were terrible for... us, as if we were alternately lying on the road or on the tracks (the freight trains run all night). But we also slept in the T5 with a high roof. Even though the place is really great, I would look for a quieter place next time. But for those who are traveling with vacation homes on wheels - and that's the majority nowadays - it shouldn't be a problem.

Very quiet and well-kept place in a wonderful atmosphere
As soon as we arrived at the campsite parking lot, a friendly receptionist approached us and brought us a map of the campsite with all the available pitches. We were able to choose our pitch at our leisure. Of course, we chose one of the beautiful pitches right by the water, for which you pay an extra... two euros, but they are more than worth it. It's not every day that you get such a wonderful spot. However, it is also a bit windy at the front of the water. You have to plan for that. The campsite is wonderfully quiet. You feel like you're actually at a spa. Everything is spotlessly clean. The sanitary facilities are in top condition. You won't find any dirty corners. You don't notice anything of the nearby road, which is very busy, or the train line. The only problem is getting from the campsite to Passignano. It's not a great distance from the town, but for a short time there is even no footpath and the cycle path is probably interrupted at this point of all places. In the other direction, you will find the cycle path around Lake Trasimeno after just a few meters. The small town of Passignano is well worth a visit. It is definitely worth taking the difficult route there. The other direction is recommended for cyclists. The campsite pool - needless to say, it was spotlessly clean - was already full when we arrived in April and was well frequented. A few brave souls even took a dip in Lake Trasimeno. The campsite has its own small beach area. It was a shame that we hadn't brought any swimming gear. We hadn't expected that. Unfortunately, we didn't test the campsite's restaurant, but it was always very busy in the evenings, so I assume that it was just as good as the quality of the campsite. There is probably also a small market on site. However, it was still closed in April. Conclusion: The Kursaal campsite is a gem for those seeking peace and quiet. It could hardly be better. The only downside is the difficult access to Passignano, but it's hard to blame the campsite for that. It was a wonderful short vacation that we won't forget.

When we arrived, the place was almost full of couples that I would classify as (pre-)retired. 90% NL. Everything was orderly and dignified ... like the plots neatly separated by cherry laurel. With our 3 small children, we felt more like a foreign body. (There were 3 other children on the site.) This was communicated to us by some as not disturbing, but rather refreshing. However, we don't like being the attraction on the campsite ...

Small but nice
Small site around a hotel, outside Passignano, directly on the lake. To the town center about 1 km, unfortunately no continuous footpath to the campsite. Small store on the site. There is a railroad nearby, but the trains only run during the day with a long time interval, we did not find it disturbing.... Otherwise very quiet, very clean sanitary facilities. You can use the hotel's swimming pool and outdoor facilities. WLAN is available, but reception only directly at the hotel or next to the sanitary facilities. The pitches are partly surrounded by hedges and partly separated by wooden walls. There are both very shady pitches and pitches with lots of sun. We were free to choose our pitch, there were plenty of free pitches. Good restaurant, always well attended. If you want a seat with a view of the lake, you have to make a reservation. Very friendly and helpful site management. Pleasant climate, no high humidity, hardly any mosquitoes. Small beach and a jetty.

Very nice small campsite, ideal for excursions, hiking, cycling tours.
The square is beautifully situated. The old romantic hotel is right in the middle. Some of the pitches are very small and caravans over 7 m are difficult to park when the pitch is full. The pitches are demarcated by hedges and are always opposite each other; only a few pitches by the water do not have... this problem. However, these are usually already full. We were there in the low season and were just able to park our 7.60 m long and 2.50 m wide WW. With the awning fully extended (3 m) and our car next to it, the pitch was fully occupied. The fact that the sidewalk to the center is interrupted for about 200 m, we do not see so drastically. WLAN is not available on the entire site, as is still stated in the ADAC guide, but only near the hotel building.
