Great place. Everything neatly taken care of. A little tinkering with electrical but everything is there. The largest pool in Europe was empty.

The site is right next to the Hotel Mladost with national park information. Very quiet location by the river with several barbecue areas. Many hiking trails and MTB routes nearby. The "lake" is a concrete basin probably filled with ice-cold Sutjesca water. It was empty when we were there. There is a... small store on the main road just a few minutes' walk away. BUT: The sanitary facilities were in a terrible state in 2015. The undefined brackish water was sometimes ankle-high and the smell was indescribable. One tap was constantly running and could not be turned off. The safest way to enter was probably with rubber boots. There was no sign of any staff in three days. You pay at the Hotel Mladost - and that's it. After that you are left to your own devices. Unfortunately, there was no alternative in the middle of Sutjesca NP. However, a mountain tour to Maglic was highly recommended! Information at the NP office at the hotel.

Great place for camping, convenient for trips to the wonderful mountains of Bosnia (e.g. Maglic, Zelengora). Sanitary facilities in tragic condition, not cleaned probably since the time of Tito.

The area is fantastic, the nature is great, it is quiet and pleasant and the staff is very nice. On the other hand, the toilets and showers are very poor (toilet rather dirty, showers in the phase of reconstruction) and the outside water pipes are running all the time. Electricity is provided only at... one spot, which limits the selection to cca 15m radius. Very quiet at night and not sure whether there is anyone guarding the site. A huge swimming pool is very short walking distance away and apparently a coffee bar / possibly a snack bar. Still, the pool was empty and looked rather poorly, while the bar was shut at 5.00 p.m. when we arrived (luckily we had some food on us). The site needs a lot of work to be put into it before you can really call it a camp and not just a field with a few bobs. I would like to go again, even while it looks like this, but would not recommend it to families, and certainly not for more than 1-2 nights. It is suitable for youth. It is very cheap!
