"Enttäuschender Aufenthalt – kein 5-Sterne-Niveau - Wir haben auf dem angeblich 5-Sterne-Campingplatz ein „Green Oak Haus“ für 5 Personen gebucht – unsere Erwartungen waren entsprechend hoch. Leider wurden wir enttäuscht. Das erste zugewiesene Haus war dunkel, eng, unkomfortabel und hatte in einem Raum nicht einmal eine Steckdose. Wegen einer Ameiseninvasion bekamen wir ein Ersatzhaus – ebenfalls dunkel, mit steiler Stiege und kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten. Die Terrasse war komplett einsehbar, es fehlte jegliche Privatsphäre. Der eingezäunte Garten war praktisch für unsere zwei Hunde, allerdings so stark von Uringeruch belastet, dass selbst die Hunde ihn mieden. Massiv störend war der Lärm: Unsere Nachbarn hielten vier große Hunde, die nachts in einem Hundeanhänger schliefen. Täglich gegen 6 Uhr wurden die Metalltüren lautstark geöffnet – begleitet von sehr lauten Gesprächen. Auch abends war das Klappern zu hören. An erholsamen Schlaf war in keiner der sieben Nächte zu denken. Solche Unterbringung sollte auf einem Campingplatz dieser Kategorie untersagt sein. Positiv: Die Anlage ist schön gestaltet, mit gepflegtem Strand, Hundezone und Liegen – das war wirklich gut gemacht. Viele Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Allerdings wurde fast ausschließlich Italienisch gesprochen, obwohl auf der Website auch Deutsch versprochen wurde. Das Restaurant war okay, allerdings wirkte vor allem das weibliche Personal oft gestresst oder genervt. Mitte September war angenehm ruhig, doch wir fragten uns, wo in der Hochsaison all die Gäste am Strand Platz finden sollen – dieser wirkte recht klein. Insgesamt ein enttäuschender Aufenthalt, vor allem angesichts des hohen Preises. Die Anlage hat Potenzial, aber es fehlt an Komfort, Ruhe und dem versprochenen 5-Sterne-Service.

"Short vacation - As already mentioned above, the construction site noise is very annoying. On vacation you want to relax and it is not at all helpful if the noise level is like in a big city. I find it very disappointing that this problem was not addressed at check-in.

"Campsite rating - Been going to this place for 35 years, it got louder from year to year. Loud, disturbing music blaring on the beach and by the beach pool. Relaxation is not possible for those seeking peace and quiet. It's a shame how this campsite has changed. We will not be back.

"Large campsite with many mobile homes - We stayed here as a family with a child and dog and were generally quite satisfied. We were able to swap the pitch we had actually booked for a quieter pitch without any problems. The restaurants on the site serve delicious food and there is a nice playground area for children with a large bouncy castle, "bumper cars" and the like. However, you have to pay for all activities. The sanitary facilities were always clean and tidy. The campsite is right on the beach. However, as we were traveling with our dog, we more or less had to leave the campsite to go to the dog beach, which is a bit off the beaten track. The beach itself is beautiful. But what we really disliked was the unpleasant treatment of dogs: If you wanted to go directly to the beach, you had a choice - either you pay for the fenced-in carree and are allowed to use 2 sun loungers, parasol and dog lounger with water bowl or you just lie on the beach sand by the water with a towel and WITHOUT(!!!) parasol! In any case, we were told this by the beach staff because we had used the sandy beach with our own sun loungers and parasol. In addition, dogs are only allowed in the water at certain times on the dog beach (from 7 pm to 9 am and from 1 pm to 3 pm in the scorching midday sun! - Animal welfare looks different). And what completely ruined our mood on the dog beach was a statement from a lifeguard who actually insisted that we were only allowed to go into the water with our dog in the area marked with a boyen of approx. 5 x 5 meters. The lady was not interested in the fact that there were children with swimming rings and air mattresses as well as dozens of other people with and without dogs and that there was hardly enough space in the marked area. Thank goodness we left the next day and won't be back!

"Camping site in disco format - This was the loudest campsite stay (in a mobile home) I have ever experienced in more than 20 years. The animation is like bodily harm in terms of volume and content. The lorries drive through the site every day regardless of the rest periods, as the supermarket is in completely the wrong place. Conclusion: never again Villagio San Francesco Caorle.

"Great campsite - We were skeptical because of the negative reviews, but were pleasantly surprised. The staff were extremely friendly and very well organized. The sanitary facilities (in our area) were new, very nice and also very clean (there was always someone from the cleaning department to be seen). It may be that other buildings are even older, but these are certainly also kept clean. We can't say anything about the pools as we were only by the sea. The pitches are large, mostly very shady, although new trees have been planted on some pitches, which naturally have to grow again. For us, with a 6-year-old daughter, it was almost perfect.
