Unfortunately totally on the verge of demolition.
We booked 6 days, but unfortunately had to leave after 3 days because the weather was so bad that I got a sinus infection.
Nevertheless
we had to pay for all 6 days. Plus horrendous electricity prices of 60 euros for these 3 days.... All in all, we paid over 400 euros for 3 days. The excuse from the operators was, well, they just had big expenses for the renewal. Absolutely not flexible and unfortunately not recommended at all. The site is at over 1300m with a lot of wind. Too bad for the beautiful place, that's how you scare away campers. Let's see how many more years this will last.
Unfortunately only out for profit.

The pitches are large enough if you are not staying overnight.
When the site is full, you can always expect to have to wait in the showers, so one point is deducted for this, as the sanitary blocks are new and the low number of showers is incomprehensible.
Especially when every free spot on the campsite is rented out for overnight guests in the high season.
The staff are really very friendly, the owners themselves still have room for improvement in this respect.......
You should be mobile, as there is not much on offer in this dead-end valley...ideal for those seeking peace and quiet.

The neighboring wood chip plant usually works very quietly. However, if there is any disturbance during your stay, we apologize.
The fact that your stay coincided with our rest days is of course very unfortunate. However, these are always listed on our homepage, and there is a restaurant/pizzeria about 100m away which we can highly recommend.
We are aware that our village Vals is especially known for its great hiking trails. Nevertheless, you can also take some bike tours here and in the surrounding area.
However, we think it's a shame that, in your opinion, there is nothing on offer at our campsite. Normally we get the opposite feedback!

It is also easy to get here with larger vehicles, the road leading to Vals is well developed. Once you arrive,... you are greeted by friendly staff, who take care of the check-in quickly.
The sanitary facilities are easily accessible from all pitches, fully equipped and up to date. However, we noticed that the women's showers have a shower, but that the men's showers do not. In addition, the toilets, which are not adjacent to a wall, require contortion exercises to reach the paper because it hangs at the back of the wall. It would have been better to build more stable partition walls to be able to mount the paper there :-).
The site has a well-functioning free Wi-Fi, outdoor and indoor playgrounds for children and is very nicely designed.
Fresh bread rolls are available on site without pre-ordering and there is a well-stocked store. The pizzeria/restaurant is definitely recommended, we really enjoyed the food.
You get the Almencard Plus for free with your stay. This includes all public transport in South Tyrol and other services. The location of the place is very suitable for excursions on foot or by mountain bike. The only drawbacks are that the nearby gondola lift can only be used free of charge at certain times and the valley path to Mühlbach leads along the road for about a kilometer - almost life-threatening for pedestrians. However, the CP cannot be held responsible for these two points.
