1 night's stay
We booked one night’s stay; we were just passing through.
We were greeted very UNFRIENDLY. He made us feel like we were bothering him and that he didn’t want guests there at all. When we asked questions—for example, where we could empty the chemical toilet—he just grumbled and waved his arms around,... but didn’t even get up from his seat. The restrooms were very outdated and filthy; there was no toilet paper, and there was a trash can full of flies. You need coins to take a shower. We couldn’t find a place to wash dishes. And all that for

The sanitary facilities are in very poor condition. The cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. The friendliness of the operators is very limited.
Good for 1 night
We drove to the CP for 1 night to pass through.
The presentation on the net is very deceptive to the actual place.
With the operator one had the feeling that one disturbs. which is probably due to the fact that this CP is used for the most part by permanent campers.
The sanitary facilities are very outdated.
For us it was the 2x that we made a stopover in Belgium. 2x disappointed.

A quiet corner
Tent pitch.
Quiet, clean, we spent two quiet nights.
The welcome is warm and pleasant,
All the people we met, regulars, visitors, managers and employees, were so kind that it warmed our hearts.
A campsite in its element, which we liked and which we'll be happy to return to the next time we're in Belgium.

Proximity to Ronquiere
Negativos
Sanitary facilities in very poor condition. No shopping facilities nearby.
50 year old square
Course is very remote but beautiful. The site celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are so old and hardly cleaned. No shopping or eating facilities. Small pool, playground, boules court available. Close to the Ronquiere boat lift.

The perfect campsite in Belgium
This is a basic campground, but very quiet and in beautiful surroundings. The people are very friendly. It is by all means better than most campsites in the Ardennes.
