Great place to party!
Great spot! Beautifully situated on the lake, which is mostly a nature reserve. Apparently, nobody cares. Everyone just does whatever they want. Sometimes without any regard for others. Drinking, rowdy behavior, loud music! Anything goes! Somehow, nobody seems to care. So! If you’re looking for fun, drinking, rowdy behavior, and loud music—head to the campground!

The site is beautifully situated and most of the pitches are huge.

A snack bar or café is only open from Tuesday to Sunday in the season from mid-July (2025). At other times only from Friday to Sunday. The sanitary facilities were cleaned at 10 am during our stay. Before that, toilet paper, towel paper and soap were missing several times. (We were there on the Whitsun weekend).
Nice campsite with moderate supply
Overall, we felt comfortable on the pitch. Unfortunately, the reception was only manned to a very limited extent. So if you want to arrive unannounced and avoid waiting times, you should arrive between 10am and 1pm

4 nights!!! noisy until after 1am with very loud music from the event venue opposite the lake CP guests were also loud for a very long time, no one to provide peace and quiet So nothing for people who want to relax No snack bar on the pitch, nearby restaurant closed due to company... No cordoned off part of the dog beach (in any case not found)
Loud CP not for those seeking peace and quiet! Otherwise beautifully situated
Actually a very nicely located campsite, all employees super nice!!!
Unfortunately a very big disadvantage that the event restaurant is probably also rented out and an event takes place every evening/night
It was horrible, loud music sometimes until half past one in the night
The type of music (oriental)... was also psychoterror.
Guests on the pitch were/are allowed to party for a very long time, nobody cares about a good night's sleep ...
Therefore absolutely not recommended with small children or people looking for peace and quiet
Unfortunately there is nothing on the CP, neither a small snack bar nor the possibility to buy something forgotten
The nearby restaurant was closed from shortly after 4 pm due to closed society.
A very nice beach can be used by guests without dogs.
Unfortunately no dog area...
Location is generally great, also for excursions

Large pitches, modern and clean sanitary building. Daily use of the amici beach is great. Pleasant size of the campsite.

Too often far too loud. Annoying sound of booming basses over many hours!
No relaxation
Out of 8 nights, there were at least 4 nights full of "booming bass/music" from the boho beach (perhaps also from somewhere else), often from midday at an absolutely unpleasant volume. And that until 2 or even half past 4 in the morning.
It goes through your bones and you can't even think about sleeping!

high costs despite electricity included, lack of peace and quiet, operator
Actually a very nice, well-kept, small square, but ...
Costs, hidden "processing fees" (only visible when booking is confirmed), poop bags for dogs not refilled for days despite € 3.50 dog fee/day, shower 3 min € 1, € 17 due for extension by a few hours until afternoon;
noisy due to club soccer stadium directly adjacent to comfort pitches, club boathouse... for external parties directly adjacent to comfort pitches, noisy crowd,
unsuitable for those seeking peace and quiet; unsympathetic operators, some of the staff also very unsympathetic except for a young woman who is very friendly and committed
Conclusion: You feel ripped off.

Beautifully maintained site by the lake with sports facilities and cycling to Roermond. The pitches are very spacious and separated by small hedges. Regarding the sanitary facilities: We had nothing to complain about, although the site was very busy. A late arrival was no problem and was solved via a key compartment with a pin.
Negativos
Reception cannot be reached by telephone during the day or in the evening. Cars are not allowed to be parked on the pitch despite the spacious parking lot.
Nice place
Such a beautiful place but we were still a little disappointed. Unfortunately, there were "disputes" between neighbors and the groundsman was not available. There was a "reprimand" for parking the car on the plot. However, when the neighboring plot was converted into a soccer pitch and children's playground,... no one could be seen or reached. A real shame, as there are so many play and sports opportunities for young people.
Nevertheless, we'll give the pitch a chance ;-).

Only one sanitary building and the men's toilet always smelled bad.
beautiful campsite
We were there over carnival, the place was very nice and the staff was friendly and nice, the reservation and inquiries by mail were always answered very quickly.
You can go hiking and cycling there.
Shopping for daily needs can be done really well in the village, 10 minutes on foot.
Shower tokens now... cost 1€ and the running time of the hot water is 3 minutes, which is more than enough, sanitary facilities were always very clean.
We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely be back.
You can also get to Roemond and ............ very quickly.

NEVER AGAIN!!!
We were really looking forward to our short vacation.
The pictures of the campsite on the home page also promised a lot.
The location of the CP is very nice, you can make very nice bike tours and the pitch on gravel was also great.
But those were already the positive features.
It already starts with... that, who of you has tried to reach the reception by phone knows what I'm talking about. NO CHANCE!
-Arrival until 17:00, then the reception is closed. Sporty on the Whitsun weekend when hardly anyone goes away.
- Not a huge CP but quite a few pitches. But a single sanitary building with 6 toilets and 4 showers each for men and women
-The cleanliness definitely leaves something to be desired
- The lady at the reception is unfriendly and snippy and totally disorganized.
- I had paid for everything on the day of arrival, I paid a €25 deposit for the barrier card.
When I wanted to return it on the day of departure, I was only supposed to get €17 back?!?!!?!
When I asked, I got the answer "You would have to keep some more money, that's how the prices are today "
?!?!?!
Arrived three days before, paid everything and now the place is more expensive?
Of course I insisted on getting the full €25 back.
After minutes of discussion, she slapped it on the counter.
👀
..... We had actually booked there again for Pentecost next year.
She received the cancellation by return of post.
There are still soooo many beautiful campsites with extremely friendly staff

Sanitary building should be cleaned more often, showers with coins (actually no problem) if you get some.
Camping by the water
Overall, we spent some lovely days on the site. In addition to the advantages / disadvantages, there is also to mention that the campsite has its own small sandy beach on the lake and could also be used well during Corona times. Pitches are so big that friends were allowed to pitch their tent on our... pitch without any problems. Electricity is only secured with 6A and could not be increased due to the fully occupied pitch. We would recommend the site because of its pitches, location on the lake and the surrounding area, even if the sanitary building is a nuisance.

- Very quiet to relax (in February) - Clean sanitary facilities - great panorama and plenty of space
Great location by the lake
My first tour. And a direct hit. Very large pitch with a view of the lake. Opposite is the beach club, which can probably be reached by walking or driving around the outside of the site. However, one swimming area (of several) is close to the pitch. In February there wasn't that much going on... No catering facilities on site, but not bad. Sanitary facilities were very clean. Nice contact with the campsite operator. I/we will be back.

No bread service at this time of year Prepayment for the entire stay and no credit card
It was quiet and pleasant
We spent a short vacation on the CP at the beginning of November. It was very quiet and pleasant. The campsite is remote. There are no shopping facilities in the district. You have to drive to Wassenberg or the NL. Also no bread service in the morning. Nevertheless, ideal starting point for cycling tours,... also in the neighboring NL. So if you want to relax, you're in good hands here. Pitch infrastructure is very good: large pitches; electricity, water and waste water connections. Separation from the permanent pitches. Sanitary facilities were clean. We had to pay in advance for the entire stay. When we arrived, they made an effort.

Sanitary building
Disappointment
Let's start with the positives: Comfort pitches are huge and level throughout and on grass, with water and electricity directly at every pitch. The playground is also great. In my opinion, the time pitches are also big enough and have sufficient electricity. That's it. The rest is very disappointing,... judging by the pictures on the homepage. Yes, there is a brand new sanitary block. 4 toilets and 3 men's?? urinals. 4 showers, only two of which allowed hot water with shower tokens when I was there... ?? 4 places to wash up? All very small. Hot water comes out of the cold water pipe for 3 minutes. The following should be said about the leisure facilities advertised. Yes, there are. BUT: To get to Amici Beach, with the advertised aqua park and wakeboard facility, you either have to walk for quite a while (or drive) or swim from the campsite's "private beach" across the lake to the other shore to the beach. As for the private beach, it should be noted that guests at Amici Beach are happy to take the path across the lake and use the campsite guests' private beach and the slide, as they probably don't even know that it is only for campsite guests, as neither signs nor staff point this out. Speaking of staff. No soap in the men's room for two days and then the same in the women's room. When I asked about the slide on the private beach, I was told that they knew nothing about it and that I should see if I could find the gentleman who looks after the site.... Conclusion: in my opinion, enough money is made here with the annual pitches and then the necessary things are quickly put in place for tourists. No care is taken and no real thought is given. The operator will say that everything about the leisure facilities is in the description. That's true, but you don't understand it until you've been here and that's why I call it a loss leader. If we end up in this area again, I'll take my money elsewhere.

No snack bar
Under new management
Unfortunately, my favorite pitch on the hill is no longer available. That leaves us with the comfort pitch, we don't need 100 square meters. 25 euros for 2 people, showers 3 minutes 50 cents. Not really cheap, considering that there isn't even a snack bar. If you don't want to leave at 12 noon, you have to pay a hefty 13 euros. We won't be back in a hurry, what a shame...

Not great
We were there in April, the store was hardly open, weekend bread rolls from 9 o'clock nowhere a sign when open, sanitary facilities for the place much too little, if the tent beds are occupied and campers are there and the tenants of lodges oh dear Dan, the sani house should actually be closed while... the cleaning fairy is there. She can hardly keep up with the cleaning because there are always some there.then the main gate closes from 6 p.m. without a barrier card you can no longer get in on foot or by car.you are not told that.the site operators are nice but haphazard.then the sailing club people must have their own access....

Great campsite - also for children and water sports enthusiasts. Beautiful pitches, including a large meadow. The lake is great and the bathing area is supervised by the DLRG. Water skiing, waveboarding and much more, swimming, fishing - everything is possible. Clean and good sanitary facilities.

no quiet guests
could be a top spot
We stayed at this campsite for a few days after our summer vacation. Super nice location, right next to a swimming lake with wake-board facilities, large pitches with fresh water and waste water, but with a few weaknesses that could easily be remedied: - the site and therefore the night's rest are left... to their own devices from 8pm, which led to a group of Dutch people (seasonal campers) celebrating a birthday until well after midnight. the later, the louder. In contrast, the neighboring tent meadow was surprisingly quiet. - Unfortunately, there were also several ignorant dog owners who interpreted the leash requirement as a recommendation and let their dogs run around everywhere. It's a shame that it was always guests from NL. I've never noticed anything so negative before. - Our pitch booking (specific pitch) was also lost, which turned out to be lucky, otherwise we would have been standing directly opposite the birthday party, so at least we had a few meters distance to it. All in all, a nice place that we will certainly give another chance, but in the high season I can only recommend it to a limited extent.
