"Not recommended for permanent camping - You can't talk to the owner. Gives you no chance to prove the opposite of your claims. It is simply terminated and that's it, even though you have always paid on time and in advance

"My 4-day experience - I would now also like to rate the Oertzewinkel campsite. The site has pitches for caravans, tent pitches, houses (i.e. allotments) for rent and leased plots for permanent campers. The surroundings are beautiful and unspoiled, but this also means "no internet" and a poor telephone network. Just perfect for a relaxing weekend or more. We rented two e-bikes for €12 a day and were able to cycle 30km without any problems, which allowed us to get to know the heathland and the surrounding area. The tank museum in Munster is also highly recommended. I would like to mention one negative point: The fishing pond advertised by the campsite management does not contain any trout at all! Believing this to be the case, I had taken my fishing equipment with me. On site, this turned out to be completely unnecessary and I felt I had been taken for a ride. Please don't be fooled by the false promises on the internet as the pond contains neither trout nor pike or other tasty fish. tasty fish. Maybe there is one carp and the rest are rudd or other small fish. Otherwise the vacation was very relaxing but unfortunately marred by this shortcoming for me.

"Rest and relaxation - A very nice, small place as an excellent starting point for hiking and cycling tours in the Südheide. Very friendly staff, a small store with regional specialties (that's all you need) and courteous service. The pitches are large enough and beautifully situated. It is not overcrowded, so there is plenty of space to relax. The small river Örtze, which runs through the site, provides refreshment for dogs and people. The restaurant is not part of the site, but offers very good regional food in the immediate vicinity. The newer sanitary building is sufficiently large, clean and modern. Hot water without a chip or similar: that's how it should be. We will be back, and for several months!

"Super summer vacation - We had a fantastic and relaxing 2 weeks at the campsite - thank you for the wonderful time! I rarely come back from vacation as relaxed as I did this time. Lots of nature on and around the site (hiking and cycling with great destinations - in our time in the blooming heath and resinous smelling pine forests - we were often out and about on the accessible sections of the Heidschnuckenweg - fabulously beautiful, as was the little village of Müden). The site is a paradise for children and nature lovers! Swimming in the swimming pond (tree swings and surfboards to have fun on), stream with pedal pool, playgrounds, woods and much more on site. Lots of free space and only a few restrictions - for children and adults alike, yet lots of peace and quiet and a good atmosphere on the site - rarely experienced in such a great and relaxed way. Very friendly and open-minded permanent campers, if you stay more than three nights, you will always be greeted and can have a chat here and there, which contributes a lot to the great atmosphere of the site. Huge pitches. Bread roll service (with late riser station ;-) ) Very friendly site operators. Excellent value for money. Sanitary - one very outdated, one newer - both always clean, here I would also like to mention the very friendly cleaning staff (and also - complaining on a high level - the very short shower intervals, a little more than 10 seconds would be desirable). The restaurant at the front is a feast for the palate and the service was extremely friendly. All in all, the campsite offers a successful concept for a relaxing vacation and adventure in nature.

"Very well-kept place - Large pitches that were in very good condition. The sanitary facilities were older, but in good order and clean. The site team is very friendly and helpful. It is ideal for dogs. We were given a map with several dog routes marked on it.

"All a bit dusty - The place itself is very nice and quiet. The rest, however, has remained in the 70s. The main sanitary facilities are in a dark hole in the basement. In the ladies toilets there is hardly any room to get to the toilet because the cubicle is very small. All the pipes are exposed. In the washrooms, the showers have been renovated, but with 4 showers it was only enough for 2 doors and the other two have a curtain. The drainage in the showers is so good that you stand in your shower water in the anteroom and this also runs into the entire washroom. And then there's the restaurant, a station concourse has more atmosphere. I haven't sat in a restaurant with a linoleum floor from the 60s for a long time. The food was okay, the service was a bit haphazard. The salad for my meal only arrived shortly before I was ready. And unfortunately they didn't manage to serve both meals at the same time for 2 people. Conclusion: We won't be back.

In the middle of the Lüneburger Heide is our place directly at the river Oertze. An idyllic location - right between the most beautiful points of the Heide and the major theme parks of the environment. The terrain is very …natural and generously designed. The Caravan-places are large and comfortable. Two sanitary houses are easy to reach from anywhere. The facilities are functional and comfortable. Several playgrounds are in between. For older children we have table tennis, a soccer field, a pavilion with tv and a special area in our forest, where your kids can play.
