"Not again - This review is a subjective reflection of our experiences at the time of our stay in July 25. We have been camping with the family and dog for many years and have perhaps been spoiled by the latter stays, such as Pino Mare in Italy. The Maistra chain is represented here all along the coast. Unfortunately, the pricing policy needs some correction. E.g. 0.33l Coke 4.8€. Burger without side dish 14€. And you don't get full. Gastro therefore only ever reasonably busy. Also mostly self-service. Card payment only. No cash. Sending children off to get an ice cream is rather suboptimal. Now to the pitch. The place is probably ok for the price. So if you don't attach any importance to the deficits listed, you can spend a price-conscious camping vacation in Istria (only possible with disciplined self-catering) This is what we noticed: ** Hospitality. Not really noticeable outside the campsite either * Prices. Eat outside. It can only get cheaper and you will be full. In addition, everything must be discussed with the manager, even if you want to get 2 chairs from the neighboring table for a larger group. Attention, even if tables are only 30% full ;-) * Pool (sun lounger 7€ per day) The pool is also too small and therefore packed, making it extremely loud, so that relaxing is not possible. The risk of being hit by a butt bomb, whether in the water or on the purchased lounger, is 80%. ** Water sports (prices were raised several times, 30min jetski first 70€ and finally 90€) * Animation / entertainment

"Great place but gastronomy rip-off - The campsite 5 stars.... Gastronomy should either close, or reconsider their drink prices...I can only recommend everyone to eat outside...not because of the taste, but the again-loving rip-off....

"Great time in the begining of May - best time is behining of seassion. we can chose pinch everywhere we want. everythik was clean and nice.

"Was the only vacation here - All in all, we were disappointed. We were here in a motorhome with a small trailer and a scooter. That was fine. But otherwise you're a bit cut off here. Prices are more than steep. We stayed at a campsite nearby for many years. We will return there. When we visited last year, there was still a beach bar here where you could have a beer even in swimming trunks, but unfortunately it was closed. If I want to have a quick drink in the afternoon, I don't need to be looked at reproachfully when I tell the waitress that I don't want to eat. Why do most of the waitresses only speak English?

"Simply bad - Pitches difficult or impossible to reach with a trailer. The pitches often full of trees, no space. At 6.30 am the garbage collection comes and makes so much noise that you stand upright in bed. We had pitch 516 until 11.30 pm floodlights from the sports facility directly into the awning. Super! Young people screaming on the mini golf course until 2.00 am. In the end we slept for 4 hours at night. Super relaxing vacation. Thanks for that. Not to be recommended.

"Nice place with some shortcomings - Unfortunately, I have to agree with many of the comments and criticize the price structure. The fact that six people are included on a pitch is also price gouging in my opinion. Also, the animation until 11.00 pm on the first pitches is too loud.

Visit our campsite, which is located in a quiet bay with a beautiful pebble beach, just 5 kilometres from Rovinj. Choose between well-equipped pitches of up to 140 m² or comfortable mobile homes with terraces, designed in the style of …a fishing village, a water oasis or a Mediterranean forest. In addition to a floating aqua park, diving and numerous other water sports, the campsite also has large swimming pools with a spray park (water playground). We await you with local specialities and your favourite drinks in our attractively located restaurants and bars on the beach and by the pools. You can choose from spacious pitches and campsites right by the sea in a quiet cove. The pitches are up to 140 m² in size, have water and electricity connections, and, along with all the equipment provided at the campsite, offer a comfortable holiday in nature. On the beach, you can have fun at the floating water park, at the diving school or rent a pedal boat, a pedalo, a jet ski or a motorboat. Rent a bike and explore the campsite and the surrounding area. Or have fun with our entertainment team during the day and in the evening. You don't even have to leave our wonderful campsite to discover local flavours, where you can enjoy a well-deserved break. Lovor Real Grill, Kapula Burger Bar and Basilico Pizza Pasta prepare fresh and delicious local dishes. Look forward to a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in all three restaurants. That's exactly what our beach and pool bars are known for. That's just how we Istrians are. Dogs feel at home on the peaceful and accessible pebble beaches and enjoy being close to the pitches or in the deep shade of the mobile homes, surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation. Try something new: go stand-up paddling in the bay with your faithful four-legged friend in the early morning or evening. We hope you have many shared experiences at Veštar!
