"Quiet, small square - A nice, quiet site that can be recommended in the low season. In the high season when fully occupied, the sanitary facilities are clearly undersized (3 showers, 1 single wash cubicle, 2 urinals, 4 toilet cubicles) The entrance to the sea is quite shallow, a little sandy at the beginning, otherwise mostly rocky (sea urchins). You can actually leave your snorkel at home, as the underwater world is pretty bleak, i.e. there is little to see.

"Still the most beautiful place for us.... - We're not really repeat offenders, but this was the second time we'd visited the site... We were curious to see whether the site, which was still very new at the time, could maintain its standard even after three years. In short: absolutely! The staff are still very active. The site is very well maintained and always clean. Not much has changed, except that you can check in online. This actually saves some vacation time. There are valuable tips at reception and the boss is always on site and also very friendly. He makes his own olive oil, which in my opinion is very high quality and incredibly tasty. You can also order in bulk, which makes it a bit cheaper ;) Getting there is actually no problem if you read the sign to the entrance correctly. Otherwise you have to turn off at the nearby hospital. Turn left at the first BIG camping sign. Or have a look at G....maps beforehand! There are different categories of pitches on the campsite. In our opinion, the cheapest pitches in the upper row of tent pitches are the quietest and most beautiful. The small kidney pool is great for younger and older children. Loungers were always free, even though the campsite was full. Probably the most beautiful bay on the island is right next to the campsite. Of course, this also attracts other "foreign" vacationers, but this is kept within limits. It never seems overcrowded. The campsite's own beach bar offers food and drinks at the usual prices. Everything is very tasty... Overall, the island is very quiet, but also extremely beautiful. If you want, you can take the passenger ferry to Zadar for a few euros or rent e-bikes at the campsite. One tip is to watch the sunset from the ruins of the Sv. Mihovil fortress. There is a small store with Croatian baked goods and vegetables at the campsite. But you can also shop in the larger markets on the island. For us, this is one of the most beautiful campsites in Croatia. And also very cheap out of season... Thank you

"A little more expected - We deliberately chose and booked or reserved this place in advance. It was a friendly welcome - as was the staff team the whole time. We felt comfortable and really enjoyed our stay - especially the good weather and the exceptionally warm temperatures. The sanitary facilities were modern and always clean. However, probably a little too small in high season. The beach bar on site was nice - the staff very friendly and the range of drinks and food very good (the opening hours were adapted to the low season - however, when we made our reservation we were told that the market and restaurant were already closed in October). There is a "pet-friendly" beach, but it was not nice for our taste. In the low season, it was permitted to take the dog to the beach - but not into the water. The island offers well-marked hiking and cycling trails. However, in our opinion, you need good shoes or good bikes - preferably MTBs. We liked the island of Ugljan for its peaceful atmosphere without any tourist frills. There are enchanting little bays everywhere in the villages (the beautiful mosaic banks are particularly worth mentioning 💕). We don't know whether we would come back to this place again. Unfortunately, we were missing a bit of "spirit" - but we can recommend the campsite for the low season and would like to thank you for a lovely and relaxing stay.

"Wonderfully secluded in a beautiful bay - We were delighted with the friendly German-speaking contact in advance. On request, they sent us a photo of the pitch (S16). We were happy to have chosen the pitch in the upper area. Very nicely laid out and much quieter, with a small vegetable garden. The approach was unproblematic. The huge pitches are typically gravelled in Croatia, but are level and have electricity/water connections. There are olive trees on the site which produce their own oil. There are also shady spots around the pool. The pool was clean and very pleasant, especially for the little ones. The beach is beautifully laid out and has a great beach bar. The food was very tasty. The sandy beach described refers to the shallow water zone in the bay. There is coarse gravel on the beach. The sea was wonderfully clear and ideal for paddling and snorkeling. The beautiful dog beach is a little further away. There is a small mini market with a bread roll service. However, you have to be there at 8am to get bread rolls. The selection was unfortunately somewhat limited. The store also sells its own olive oil. There are plenty of supermarkets in the villages. The reception was helpful and very nice. The sanitary building was new and always clean. The number of facilities was sufficient. There is a dog shower, outdoor sink and washing machine and dryer. The site is relatively new, which explains the modern facilities. The only annoying thing was the unpleasant odors from the drains inside and outside. The operator should urgently improve this. We were glad we didn't use the sanitary facilities. The island itself has beautiful villages to explore. You can take the passenger ferry to Zadar quickly and cheaply. The castle on the island is a great place to watch the sunset. Conclusion: Overall, the perfect vacation spot for us. We had a very nice vacation and would absolutely recommend the campsite and would gladly come back.

"Pure relaxation - We really enjoyed our stay here in May / June 2022. The sanitary buildings were very clean and the beach bar with the great view invites you to linger. We would love to come back!

Camping Ugljan is resort in Croatia, on island Ugljan situated on Dalmatian coast, only 20 minutes from Zadar by ferry. Resort is new, 4* with heated outdoor pool, XL 40 m2 premium mobile homes each with additional 30 m2 covered …terrace. Premium mobile homes are situated very close to the sea and there are 3 types: 2-bedroom and 3-bedrooms, each with 2 bathrooms and Studio with 1 bathroom. Resort is very dog friendly, with special dog beach only 300m2 from the resort! We have our own vegetable garden that is made for our guest enjoyment to use seasonal vegetables every day! Camping Ugljan Resort is situated in a quite south west area of island Ugljan. It is ideal for people looking for a quite vacation, with lot of activities for kids and adults. Ugljan is well known for its numerous biking and hiking paths for active vacation and lot of small restaurants offering delicious local food.

How to get to Camping Ugljan Resort? By car: use A1 motorway to the south and use exit Zadar 2. Then drive 15 km to Zadar Port (Gazenica) where you find ferry to Island Ugljan (port Preko). The ferry rides …very frequently and the trip lasts 25 minutes, you can find time-table at Jadrolinija.hr. After arriving to Preko you have 11 km ride by car to west to our resort. By plane: after arriving to Zadar airport there are 2 possibilities: take airport bus or taxi to Zadar center and there board to boat Zadar-Preko or you can take taxi or rent a car and then go to Port Zadar (Gazenica ) and then by ferry to island Ugljan (Preko port). After arriving to Preko find taxi or call us to come and pick you up, there is only 11 km (10 min drive to our resort). We wish you nice and pleasent stay and fabuolus vacation at our Camping Ugljan Resort!
