We decided on the spur of the moment and booked a week’s stay over the phone.
It was a beautiful campground, with some paved and some gravel paths—which actually adds to its idyllic charm. The wash houses were thoroughly cleaned every day—at least in ours, I can say that—and with music playing in the... background, it was a pleasant, relaxing place.
Unfortunately, the washhouse near the beach was dirtied with sand by the campers themselves without any regard for cleanliness; this could be prevented if there were a footbath with cold water available in front of the washhouses, then all users would have the opportunity to rinse off the sand before using the washhouse, and the cleaning crew’s workload would be reduced!
These “cleaning angels” gave their best every day and always smiled warmly. They should be rewarded with a small tip from time to time.
Otherwise, the campground is beautifully located, with large sites that have electricity and water, as well as sewer hookups.
The campground is right on the beach; there’s just a bike and walking path running right in front of it, but that doesn’t get in the way when you’re heading to the beach.
The restaurant and the small grocery store are more than adequate, as are the sports facilities.

The welcome at the front desk was very nice, straightforward, and very friendly.
We felt very comfortable this week
and would love to come back.

All in all, we can’t say anything negative—but if you’re on vacation and don’t want to be woken up at 4 a.m., let’s just say this: a nature reserve for pigeons and seagulls is definitely out of place—at least at the spot where we were staying! We can’t say whether it’s different at other spots! Another... drawback is the exhaust hood at the restaurant—or whatever it is—which emits a noise like ultrasonic waves from the afternoon through the evening! For that reason, we can’t recommend this campground to everyone!

Summer Vacation
We really enjoyed our stay—a beautiful spot with very friendly staff.
Right on the water—great and so unspoiled. Sanitary Building 1 was always spotlessly clean. A big shout-out to the ladies!!!! Unfortunately, the building is also open to the public, including cyclists, etc. On several occasions in... the shower room, both before and after showering, I’ve come across people in street clothes
(bike helmets) and cleated shoes who left quite a mess behind.
I find this very unhygienic, and it shouldn’t be allowed.
A chip card for guests would be a solution.
Likewise, designated locker access times during the day and at night would be more restful.

Great first stay with Mini 👶🏼
We stayed at the campground for almost 3 weeks and felt very comfortable there. I was there with my 7-month-old daughter, and we had everything we needed. The deep baby bathtub deserves special mention. It’s very practical and important for all guests with little ones. You don’t have to bring an extra... bathtub with you.
The campground is generally quiet, but I didn’t feel like I was disturbing anyone with my baby. Unfortunately, you can’t always avoid a baby crying.
Thank you so much for this camping experience with our little one! We’ll definitely be back.

The Südstrand Campground is a very clean place where you always have plenty of space between you and your neighbors. Thanks to the bushes and trees, there are many shaded campsites. Great place—the value for the price is impressive
The site is just as big as the others—you can really spread out, which is great.
The restrooms and showers are clean and well-maintained.
The playground for the kids is huge—you actually have to go looking for them when they’re off on their own.
We also rented a trailer to go with it.
We noticed that,... unfortunately, it didn’t have a small sink.
There’s also not much storage space in the awning, and there are no outlets in the seating area—which is a problem if you have a cell phone, tablet, etc., with you. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Die Sanitärhäuser waren sauber, die Plätze gepflegt, mit Strom und Abwasser. Die nette Begrüßung in der Anmeldung. Keine Schlüssel für Sanitärhäuser, Schranke, keine lästigen Duschmarken, keine Stromablesung, Bezahlung bei Anreise alles in Allem sehr unkompliziert. Dafür Daumen hoch. Wir kommen wieder.

Der Platz ist sauber, ruhig und sehr gut aufgeteilt.
Sanitäranlagen ebenfalls ausgesprochen sauber.
Was Sie allerdings ändern sollten, weil mich es sehr gestört hat und ich es in dieser Form noch nie erlebt habe. Dusche: 150 Sekunden, dann 60 Sekunden Pause, wenn man weiter duschen muss! Ein Unding,... in dieser einen Minute friert man, weil es nicht gerade warm in den Duschmoglichkeiten ist. Vier Minuten wären angebracht.

Toller Urlaub
Es war wieder sehr schön. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und sauber. Für Eltern mit Kindern ein Paradies. Nur einige Meter bis zum Sandstrand, der auch für Hunde sehr schön ist. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich kann den Platz nur empfehlen. Freue mich schon auf das nächste mal.
