- Katerina O.julho 2025PositivosThe pitches for tents and caravans were large and very private. Facilities very clean.NegativosNo free WiFi and even if you pay for it, unable to get it in the pitch we were in. Bar staff very unfriendly and reception staff a bit indifferent,.didn't provide much information about anything. It's a 30 min drive to Nimes, which is further than we expected, but only 10 mins to Pont du Gard where there is great swimming in the river. There is also a pool at the campsite, but tends to be pretty busy.Large shady pitches.Large, private and shady. Lots of room for caravan, awning and car. In fact, you could get two caravans on each pitch.Nenhum campista achou esta avaliação útil ainda. Seja o primeiro!
- Diana S.junho 2025PositivosPleasant and cozy campsite without crowds, we also found it great that the reception was always manned by friendly and helpful people. The bathing area on the Gardon (plage de Collias) was phenomenal!NegativosIt was a shame that there was hardly any opportunity to paddle down the Gardon with your own SUP without having problems with the return transportation at the end. The various canoe rental companies naturally want to sell their own services and don't offer a shuttle for individualists, not even for a fee. In our case, we were able to ask the friendly staff at reception to call a cab to pick us up at the shore exit. But it was a bit complicated.PleasantCampervan with awning roof - space was just right and pleasantly shaded by trees.Traduzido automaticamente.Respondido de Camping le Barralet 6 de julho de 2025Thank you for your stay and your appreciation of our campsite. - Joep L.junho 2025PositivosThe cottage was fineNegativosBecause it was so hot at night and there were mosquitoes the windows could not open and it was scorching hot in the bedroom. Seja o primeiro! - Peter G.junho 2025PositivosFrom a very rainy Lourdes looked forward to a familiar and sunny(er) area and "found" this campsite there.NegativosThe toilet building is in need of a very major renovation. This may/should include attention to better ventilation, better faucets and better wastewater disposal.Tasty snackThe site was of adequate size, there were NO problems with electricity, the toilet block was within walking distance as was the water point. There was shade (tree). The staff was very friendly and helpfulTraduzido automaticamente.Respondido de Camping le Barralet 10 de junho de 2025Thank you for your review of our campsiteTraduzido automaticamente.Nenhum campista achou esta avaliação útil ainda. - Hans G.setembro 2024PositivosWe stopped here as a stopover to the Netherlands. It is a simple campsite with several places for the caravan and we were allowed to pick our own place, but not on the nice places with the nice view. The plumbing is outdated but functions .NegativosThe plumbing and the driveway to the campsite this is full of big holes.Simple quiet campground. You get to pick your own spot and the spots are good size you do need to have enough power cable with you is quite a bit further.Traduzido automaticamente.Respondido de Camping le Barralet 10 de junho de 2025Thank you for your review of our campsiteTraduzido automaticamente.Nenhum campista achou esta avaliação útil ainda. - Roman B.julho 2019Quite good, but not much shadeIn any case, we would have needed a bit more shade at our pitch. There are awnings on the pitches concerned, but they hardly keep the sun out. Otherwise, everything was fine, including the pool, which unfortunately closes at 7pm.Traduzido automaticamente.Nenhum campista achou esta avaliação útil ainda. Seja o primeiro!
- Christoph A.julho 2018PositivosLocation, good value for money, river a short distance from the campsite, friendly staffNegativosnoneWell located campsiteFrom Le Barralet you can easily visit the towns and sights in the surrounding area, as the site is relatively centrally located in between (Avignon, Nimes, Uzès, for example), the Pont du Gard is approx. 6 km away. The pitches are partly naturally shaded by trees and partly by fabric "canopies". However,... it is still hot at the end of July :) Electricity and WLAN available for a fee, easy to set up/use (electricity connections not at every pitch, so take a cable drum with you!) The sanitary facilities are simple and functional and were always clean during our stay. Two days a week, hawkers come to the site and sell olives, cornichons and all sorts of odds and ends. On Wednesdays there is a kind of dance event at the bar, very relaxed. The restaurant offers pizza and snacks, the adjoining grocery store sells baguettes/croissants and all kinds of groceries every day (on a small scale, and not complete, but absolutely sufficient!). Five minutes' walk away is the Gardon, where you can swim quite well. It probably has a lot more water in spring/autumn than in summer, but it's good enough for swimming even then. The river is a big plus for the campsite and an important source of cooling :) There were two of us with a tent and we would camp there again at any time, so we can only recommend the site.Traduzido automaticamente.Nenhum campista achou esta avaliação útil ainda. - Michael B.agosto 2017PositivosClose to Uzes and Pont du Gard. Direct access to the Gardon.NegativosDry, loud and dusty80% mobile home lots of noiseLots going on in summer. - Natascha G.agosto 2017PositivosThe view of the river and the bridge from the restaurant and pool. Location for excursions. General friendlinessNegativosLack of mosquito screens. Store too few products (partly no milk, butter, other standards)small friendly placeWe were there for 2 weeks in Aug 2017. Family with 2 children, 5 and 8, had a mobile home. It was really small 21sqm, but otherwise well equipped, in kitchen, everything you need, patio furniture, drying rack. Very small beds, no mosquito screens in front of the windows, so we were looking for mosquitoes... every evening! We bought nets in the supermarket and stuck them in front of the windows. It was very hot (30-37 degrees). Sometimes the wind came up in the evening, which was wonderful. The site is very green, lots of shade, on some pitches and in very few mobile homes there were great views of the panorama. The rest of the mobile homes: you look at the cars parked right next to the mobile homes or at other mobile homes. We hardly used the sanitary facilities because they were MHs, but they looked clean but dated. The restaurant was run by a couple of guys, they had a lot of fun, were super nice, but the food was only ok. You could eat it, but there were lots of good restaurants in the village. The camping store mainly had bread and croissants in the morning, otherwise really hardly anything. In the village, within walking distance, there are two small corner shops, a good bakery and a large supermarket in the next larger village 10 minutes by car. Several kayak rentals right down by the river. Swimming in the river was great. But it was all rocks, so water shoes were essential. Jumping from the rocks into the river was a hit with the kids (and adults). The path from the campsite down to the river is a bit steep, then leads over rocks and through the river, is not possible with a baby carriage and not really suitable for small children. I would say 4 years and up is fine. Kayak/canoe rental from all providers from 6 years. Climbing is available from 5 years directly down in the village. Horse riding at the exclusively French-speaking riding stables from the age of 5. Great base for many excursions. Good mix of mobile homes and tents. Little entertainment in the evenings. Pool very full, but plenty of sun loungers and parasols available. The campsite was fully booked in the first week, but not overcrowded. Hardly any German guests, almost only French. Some of the staff only speak French. Very friendly management, informal, very friendly everyone. We felt very comfortable. Great riding stables nearby.Traduzido automaticamente.Nenhum campista achou esta avaliação útil ainda. Seja o primeiro!
