We chose a place with a direct view of the Sognefjord. There is a rock directly on the fjord with lots of benches, places to eat and a barbecue area. There is also good fishing. The site is somewhat hilly and there are... many beautiful viewing points. A fishing jetty with a supply station for the catch and a jetty. You can enjoy a unique view of the fjord from every pitch. A campsite that makes you feel good and definitely deserves a privileged place in the photo album.
The sanitary facilities are a little small but always clean. The reception... speaks German and is very friendly.
There are several nice barbecue areas and a great fishing spot.
It was the nicest campsite we visited on our tour of Norway. The operators are extremely friendly and it is also one of the cheapest... campsites we have visited in Norway so far. The perfect starting point for hiking, kayaking and fishing. A place to go on vacation!NegatywneFor us, there are actually none!One of the most beautifully situated campsites in Norway!I have known this place for over 30 years! It's always fun for us to come here and relax! Whether we come here with the motorhome or with the motorcycles (men's group), it is always super nice here. The place has a unique location, there are many possibilities for leisure activities such as mountain... biking and motorcycling, hiking in the immediate vicinity, swimming in the fjord, barbecuing on the rocks, etc. ......... Even if the weather is bad, there is always something to do here, e.g. day trips to Gudvangen, Nigardsbreen, the beach, etc. ...... Now some more information about the site: There are huts with and without sanitary facilities, tent pitches, caravan and motorhome pitches. The sanitary facilities are always super clean. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer. Shopping facilities are in Vii approx. 6 km. or a small store in Vangsnes approx. 4 km. The place is super laid out and for me as an angler ideal starting point for fishing tours unfortunately in the heat with moderate success, tours in the area and to Bergen by car or bike no problem all in all a nice place to spend a vacation we are guaranteed to come back only to recommend. There are a number of great pitches with a direct view of the Sognefjord where there are many porpoises (estimated 6000 in the region). So you have the best chance of seeing porpoises (porpoises, dolphins). The power connections for... motorhomes are a little scarce (a long cable is helpful). Beautiful hiking area near Fresvik. Great stave church in Vik and other excursion destinations. You can also order bread rolls, which is not necessarily common in Norway.
