"Place in the fairytale forest - There were two of us with a caravan and three dogs on the site for two nights. Important when approaching: pay attention to the campsite signposts. Google Maps wanted to show us a narrow path to the site earlier. However, this is only a "side entrance" to the site and closed with a barrier, no turning possibility. The correct access road is also only a single lane. So drive slowly! Registration was quick and easy. Our personal details were recorded (German was spoken, the operators are Dutch) and we were allowed to choose our own pitch. The rows are separated by trees. It was impossible to put in pegs as the pitch was originally gravel (greenery is now growing through). But the pitches are very level. The sanitary facilities are super clean and lovingly decorated (e.g. there is a framed picture in every toilet cubicle). The only drawback: the toilet cubicles are so small that you have to go in backwards, as it is impossible to turn around with the door closed. OK, at 1.90 m I'm not the shortest, but does that mean you have to bump your knees against the door when sitting down? What was saved on the toilet was made up for in the showers. They are very spacious. It's just a shame that the coin-operated machine is outside the cubicle. If you need to top up, you have to leave the cubicle. Otherwise, the site is beautifully situated by the river, surrounded by forest. Also very nice for walking the dogs. There is also a playground for the little ones. We were surprised when we left (because we hadn't read the note on arrival): No card payment is possible! Only cash (euros, Swedish or Norwegian kroner) or by bank transfer on site, i.e. on your cell phone or laptop. It's good that electricity is included, but unfortunately not hot water for showers. Wi-Fi is available, but was not particularly stable at our pitch. However, we can recommend the site despite its minor weaknesses.

"Never again - We were planning to visit this campsite for a week. Beforehand, we had read various negative reviews about the owner saying that she had an account mania. We didn't want to believe this, but we were proven wrong the very next morning. The tarpaulin on our pickup was no longer as it had been on the evening of our arrival, but nothing was missing. The next morning in the shower, we were shocked. The owner simply ran into the shower while we were running around naked in the shower rooms to get dressed again. When we wanted to know what this was all about, the owner started shouting at us that we weren't allowed to enter the rooms with shoes on and that we didn't know how to read and write. Incidentally, the shoes we were wearing were flip-flops. It looked more like she liked to surprise naked men in the showers under a pretext. And just by the way. If you want to see something like this, you can also go to the relevant websites. After this incident, we left the campsite immediately without having breakfast. The owner was not aware of any guilt and was offended that we did not agree with her insults or her lack of respect for our privacy. It should also be mentioned that these photos of the water, which can be seen on the Internet from this campsite, do not correspond to the local conditions. These photos were probably taken at places about 20-30 km away. If the owner does not agree with our assessment, we are optimistic about a legal dispute.

"Simply relax - A nicely run campsite by the operators. We stayed on the site for 8 days and felt very welcome. Ideal starting point for hiking and cycling. Shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity. Unfortunately, there were no bread rolls on the site, as according to the operators, it was not desired. Gladly again

"Five stars are almost not enough here - A charming place with a perfectly quiet location by the river. Very nice and thoughtful operators. I have rarely seen such a lovingly run campsite. The Dutch operators even greeted us in German and everything was very, very nice. After checking in, we had a free choice of pitches. The sanitary and other facilities are very clean. A great campsite that we will definitely visit again!

"For the 11th time at the campsite - The title says it all. Rarely have I found such a beautiful and clean place. The owners Silvia + Peter are great. A BBQ (race and elk) is regularly organized for the guests. If our health allows it we will come back again and again.
