"Angemessen ruhiger Stadtcampingplatz - Es handelt sich hier um einen Stadtcampingplatz im Zentrum von Riga. Der CP ist hinter Messehallen etwas versteckt, daher aber auch recht gut vom Stadtlärm abgeschirmt und deshalb angemessen ruhig. Die Innenstadt ist auch zu Fuß recht schnell zu erreichen, ca. 2 km Fußweg. Der CP einschließlich Sanitäranlagen war in ordentlichem Zustand. Die Betreiber waren freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis war angemessen.

"Stadtnähe hat ihren Preis - Ideal als Ausgangspunkt für sightseeing, da muß man halt Abstriche bei der Individualität machen. Standplätze in Reih und Glied eng nebeneinander auf Beton/Asphalt oder teilweise Wiese und keinerlei Schatten. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob tatsächlich nur die ausgewiesenen 140 Stellplätze belegt waren. Vergleichspreis inzwischen bei 26.-€

"Zur Durchreise - Stellplatz auf Durchreise um Riga zu besichtigen ideal. Ca. 20Minuten Fußmarsch ins Zentrum oder mit Bus ab Platz. Sanitäranlgen in Ordnung. Preis auch ok - € 28 für Womo, 2 Personen und Hund.

"Stadtcamping der besseren Art - Günstig an der Innenstadt/Altstadt gelegen, Bus eine Station (ca.10 Minuten Anmarsch), Taxi (vom Platzwart gerufen) 5 Euro. Infrastruktur super, aber im Laufe des Tages durch die Platzgrösse eher nicht mehr sauber. Es empfiehlt sich rechtzeitig anzureisen, da die Nachfrage gross zu schein sein. Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Platzpersonals sehr gut. Täglich Stadtrundfahrt im klimatisierten Bus direkt ab CP (empfehlenswert).

Everyone is welcome here, with or without a tent. Motorists, bikers or hitchhikers can stay overnight in the city centre paying a moderate price. The camping offers tasty meals, showers and sauna, to pass the night and then to set …forth. For the most active people, we offer facilities for tennis and streetball, roller blade and bicycle rental. It is a great opportunity to explore Kipsala’s remote corners, to view wooden buildings of Pardaugava or to enjoy the tourists’ paradise in the Old Town – hundreds of architectural monuments and pubs. The Riga city camping is located close by the Old Town where are numerous tourist, entertainment and commercial objects. In a couple of minutes walk from the camping, there is a swimming pool, supermarket and ATMs of several banks. Located in the centre of Riga, Kipsala offers a spectacular view to the Old Town. Kipsala is the buffer zone of the Riga historical centre included in the list of the World’s Cultural Heritage in 1997. It is of immeasurable value owing to its relief, landscape and wooden buildings (some of them are fishermen houses built in the beginning of the 19th century).
