- Petra H.September 2019PozytywneDog allowed on the beachNegatywnePrices not transparent, sanitary facilities not clean, beach is getting smaller and smaller due to large stones, restaurant an imposition, booking in German online no longer possibleUnfortunately no longer recommended after saleWe were at this campsite for the 7th time in October 2019. With 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs. 6 times everything was great. Unfortunately the site was then sold in 2018, to a chain. We received no response to inquiries about our booked pitch for 2019. When we were there, we were told that this was... what the new owner wanted. We didn't get our booked pitches either.
Many friends we met there every fall were very disappointed. Prices seem to be made according to whim and are sometimes out of this world for the low season. Pitches fell victim to a lot of newly built mobile homes, which is not the way to treat regular guests.
We felt very unwelcome. The beach is also getting smaller and smaller as more and more large stones are brought onto it. We are very sad that Els Prats has deteriorated so much since it was sold. The sanitary facilities were top all the years, in 2019 an external company was there and only the most necessary was done.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Ute Z.September 2019PozytywneLocationNegatywnePrice, friendliness not available, security no longer available,Disastrous after renovation and only a shadow of its former glory !!!!We have been guests at Els Prats (formerly Marius) for many years. The emphasis is on "have been" because this site no longer has anything to do with camping. The preference is clearly for the newly built mobile homes, with which half the site has now been "paved over". Prices for "normal" pitches have... been "tripled" in some cases and taken depending on your mood or the state of the moon! Last year, for example, a beach pitch cost €28 in the off-season; in 2019, the same pitch should cost €85 in the same period. Different prices are also charged for the same pitch (Prestige Comfort). Between €24 and €48, probably depending on the weather ??? The staff no longer consists of our own people, which is not a bad thing. What is disastrous, however, is that these "service providers" do not do their job and do not speak a known language. It was something Eastern European. These people certainly knew their way around a cell phone. Reservations are also no longer possible. You can specify 3 different requests, but if someone books these pitches online, you get some random pitch that doesn't even fit your caravan or mobile home! The restaurant is also only for people who have a "cow stomach". Bad is still flattering! It's a mystery to me how you can deliberately ruin a once beautiful site like this. So if you want to spend a lot of money on a place that has become very bad, you should go for it. It could hardly be worse !!!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Klaus Z.June 2019NegatywneAfter several years of visits, the place has more than deteriorated in terms of staff in 2018. Service 2019 bottom drawer !!!!Not like in previous years! After 2009, we were back at the old "Marius" (Camping Els Prats) in 2010. The pitches range from quite small (sufficient for a tent) to large (caravan length 8 m no problem) and are divided into Standard, Prestige, Beach and Beach Front. There is a lack of shade on the beach pitches. However, there are... a few trees here and there. However, you are provided with sufficient fresh air. There is always sufficient shade or sun (depending on requirements) on all other pitches. There is also a separate dog area, but this is also heavily used by "normal" campers. The restaurant has improved a lot compared to 2009. In contrast to others here, we had nothing to complain about. (A menu for 11 euros including a drink is perfectly OK.) Of course, there is always something better elsewhere, but that is up to you. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years, but are cleaned several times a day. We never noticed any dirt. You can see staff all over the site all day long, either sweeping, tending to the flower beds, picking up leaves or emptying the garbage cans. The staff are extremely friendly and always ready to help. The campsite's own store also offers everything your heart desires at reasonable prices. There is even more choice in the numerous stores in the immediate vicinity. W-Lan and an internet cafe are also available. There is also a doctor on site every day from 10:00 am, who you can visit in an emergency (which my friend unfortunately had to do). However, according to the doctor at home, the treatment and diagnosis were flawless. The small town of Cambrils, the city of Tarragona, as well as parks and leisure facilities in the immediate vicinity invite you to explore. I can only warmly recommend the campsite and will definitely stay there again. Addendum from 2018 After replacing almost all the staff, the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities often leaves a lot to be desired. The previous friendliness has also noticeably diminished and there was a general indifference. The very strongly represented Dutch faction obviously regards the campsite as their "personal property" and takes the finest liberties. Many long-standing campers are already (understandably) looking for a suitable replacement! Addendum from June 2019 A new site plan has finally been published. All pitch numbers have changed and those who had booked no longer know where they are staying! E-mails are not answered and ACSI is (contrary to previous information !!!!) only accepted on standard pitches. The service is, to put it bluntly, below par !!! After years of visiting, this was the last time this year. Just awful !!!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Geiger U.March 2019be more than meets the eyeUnfortunately, the campsite becomes a vacation village with many mobile homes. without any infrastructure was charged 30, - Euro in mid-March, without pool, without restaurant, only pitch with washroom, an absolute impudence, reception very slow and unfriendly, we left after 3 daysPrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Lars M.July 2018PozytywneThere are none at the moment!NegatywneNo communicationCamping Els PratsActually a super camping site I have been going there for 30 years but what is happening now is awesome! The place was sold this year and Marjal took it over and now come the problems! O communication o reaction they change everything nobody gets an alternative place that is the last! Bungalows are now... only allowed to be reserved from Saturday to Saturday otherwise everything is canceled this is underground how they deal with their customers I've been waiting for 8 weeks for a reaction because I would have liked to go there over Easter now we have booked another place I say yes underground communication! They should be nice to you!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Tom M.July 2018PozytywneLocation of the campsite Facilities and cleanliness Courteous staff Sufficient pitch sizeNegatywnenoneVacation at a high levelHello campers, We stayed at Els Prats again in 2018, just like in 2017. The campsite is still excellent. The entire facility with sanitary facilities, supermarket, pool area, staff, service as well as the very nice beach etc. everything is first class. We are always there in the high season. The campsite... is of course relatively full. Nevertheless, it doesn't seem overcrowded. We will be spending our summer vacation at Els Prats again in 2019 and hope that it will work out again with the advance reservation. we spent our summer vacation at this campsite for three weeks in July 2016. We were lucky and were able to reserve a pitch in the first row (beach front pitch) in advance. There is water and waste water for every pitch and the electricity is completely sufficient. Despite the air conditioning, we didn't even blow a fuse. Access to the site is also possible with larger caravans and the pitches are large enough, we were able to park our towing vehicle on the pitch. The whole site is very clean and well maintained, the sanitary facilities in the dog area are completely new and of a high standard. The shower cubicles are large with showers and hand showers. Toilet paper is available in the WC. There are soap dispensers and hand dryers at the washbasins. Everything is neat and clean. The paths are regularly cleaned and moistened. There are sufficient washing-up facilities throughout the campsite, which are cleaned until late in the evening. The staff are always polite and courteous and the reception staff are very helpful and polite. The beach is very clean and the water is crystal clear. The store has everything you need in stock, there is a small boutique. The restaurant is rustic, but fully adequate for our requirements and it also offers all meals to take away. There is a very nice restaurant in the immediate vicinity (just a few minutes' walk away). For us, Els Prats campsite is one of the most beautiful places we have visited so far. We have already pre-booked for 2017 in the summer.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Claudia W.June 2017It is a very good campsiteWe have been going to this campsite for a few years now and are generally very satisfied. Unfortunately, we only hear complaints about the cuisine in the restaurant...food is cold and/or doesn't taste good. The service at the beach bar could be a bit better. The sanitary facilities are very clean except... for the weekends (many local campers). The pitches and the location to the beach as well as the pool are great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. However, we will avoid staying on San Juan on 23/24/06 in future.....Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- R. K.September 2016PozytywneReasonably priced, nicely planted shady pitches, good WLAN, pretty pool areaNegatywnePartly small pitchesOne of the most beautiful campsites on the Costa DoradaAfter visiting the neighboring campsites Playa Montroig and Torre del Sol, our decision for El Prats was clear. The reason was the very nice pool (suitable for all ages, there is a separate wellness pool for adults (forbidden for children), slides for older children and a nice pool with a big blue giraffe... for the very youngest. The lifeguards are very attentive and intervene immediately). The pitches vary greatly in size, but are very well planted and partly very shady. Unfortunately, it was so small that we couldn't park our car on the pitch, but that didn't really bother us. We were in row D on the dog pitches. As a non-dog owner, I was a little skeptical at first, but I have to say that there was no dog poo anywhere and there was no dog barking. The sanitary facilities are very modern, huge showers with permanent water flow, two shower heads to choose from (rain shower and normal shower head). The toilets were mostly very clean, had glasses and toilet paper. The beach itself is very narrow and sometimes crowded at weekends. But you can always find a place. I would advise wearing bathing shoes when entering the sea as it is very pebbly/stony there. Difficult for small children as it goes down quite quickly. The WLAN coverage throughout the site is excellent. Supposedly free if you reserve a pitch. As we did not make a reservation, we paid €25 for 50 hours of internet use. There is a large Lidl supermarket in Cambrils, but the supermarket on the campsite is also well stocked and not really overpriced. Very cheap in the low season. From 28.08. we paid 17,--€/night with ADAC-Card.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Sven M.August 2016Pozytywnequiet, reasonably priced, great locationNegatywnedisgusting sanitary facilitiesBeautiful campsite on the Costa DauradaWe stayed at Els Prats for a week in August. The resort has the advantage that you can have a bird's eye view of a pitch close to the entertainment and still have peace and quiet. The highlight here is that the pool and the entertainment are on a higher level and therefore no noise penetrates. The sanitary... facilities were in a bad state at our time. Toilets were blocked and paper was not always available. The cleaning intervals were also not appropriate for the crowds. The beach was very clean and the beach bar was manned by friendly staff.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- sonia b.July 2016PozytywneCleanliness, tranquility and family atmosphereNegatywneFrom the campsite's beach, due to its orientation, the sun will not rise at dawn.Vacations 2016 JulyThe campsite is highly recommended. The very large plot, more than enough because we went with an igloo tent for 3 people and the car, so we had enough space even putting the dining table. Few campers with tent when we were there, almost all caravans and motorhomes (for information because we did not... care). The pool is very good, and has a separate spa pool to which access to children is prohibited, which allows you to relax. The cleanliness of the bathrooms and sinks was impeccable. Our area allowed pets and has a pet washing area. The other area of the campsite (separated by a stream) does not allow pets. In the stream there is an area for washing cars and tarpaulins. The access to the beach is immediate from the camping area, a luxury. The guards watch over the silence at night, so at 12 o'clock you can hear absolutely nothing but the sea.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Albert P.May 2016PozytywneClean facility and friendly staffNegatywneNoneVacation on Els Prats Miami BeachWe stayed at this site in May 2016 and found it to be well organized. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pitches are sometimes a bit narrow, many campers are on the site for several weeks and mostly Spaniards / Germans / Dutch, the place is clean and the sanitary facilities are new. The campsite... is divided into two parts, the left side for pets (dogs, cats) which is a good solution from our point of view. Also the beach is quite OK and the supply at the place is for the most important in order. With the bike to Cambrils it is about 5 km and despite partly on the N 340 easy to manage. I can recommend the campsite with a clear conscience.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Thomas T.August 2015PozytywneVery good infrastructure.NegatywneVery full in the high season.Well organized CPVery full from high season to low season. You should make a reservation. The approach under the railroad bridge seems a bit adventurous, but is not a problem. The standard pitches are sufficient for a larger camper van and a small additional tent. The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day... and are clean even in the high season. There is a well-stocked supermarket on site. Further shopping facilities can be found in the nearest towns, such as Cambrils and Miami Platja. The pool is a bit small when the campsite is full, but is nicely laid out. The staff are very professional and helpful.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Roger R.July 2015PozytywneCleanliness of the sanitary facilities Size of the pitches (Prestige category)NegatywneInfrastructure (supermarket, showers on the beach, sanitary buildings) somewhat outdatedGood overall impression - ideal for a relaxing vacationFor two weeks in July 2015, I was alone on this campsite that I knew from my youth (Marius). The pitch was large and I had enough space for a 4-person tunnel tent, a 9sqm2 pavilion and my jeep. When making your choice, you should definitely pay attention to the different categories when booking! The... standard pitches are quite small, just enough for a small caravan or a 4-person tent, with an awning and car it gets very, very cramped! You should therefore book a pitch in the Prestige or Beach category. Some of the buildings are a bit outdated on the outside, but are very well maintained on the inside. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities, which were cleaned even at 3.00 am. The supermarket offers a reasonable range of goods and the prices are ok. There are enough large shopping centers near the campsite that can be reached by car in 5-10 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful, but you should speak Spanish or at least English, German is not enough. The WiFi is OK in terms of strength for surfing, but it is not good for videos and similar content. It is available throughout the entire campsite, but unfortunately there are always outages. But the price is OK. The beach is clean and offers nice recreational opportunities. The gastronomy on the campsite is unfortunately only average! However, there are some great restaurants within a short distance (use TripAdvisor) or you can cook for yourself in the camper or tent! However, I can highly recommend the site for a relaxing vacation!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Helga S.September 2014PozytywnePeace and quiet, cleanliness of the sanitary facilities, swimming pool, proximity to the beach, layout of the campsiteNegatywneThe restaurant is mediocre.Feel-good campsiteWe have now been here for 2 weeks for the 2nd time and will probably visit the campsite again and again. It is a smaller site with nice medium-sized pitches. The whole site is exceptionally well maintained and kept clean. The sanitary facilities were renovated over the winter and a nice swimming pool... was built. The guests are mainly German, Dutch and Swiss. The tranquillity of the campsite should be emphasized. Even when the swimming pool is being used by children, the noise level is low. For us, the campsite is a little gem near Tarragona.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- K. S.August 2014Summer 2014We had a very nice vacation at this campsite. For us it is the place of short distances, everything important can be reached in 1-3 minutes on foot.beautiful well-kept beach and a super nice new pool area, nice and very helpful staff, everything is well maintained and kept clean.good and clean sanitary... facilities.there is the possibility to rent large and small refrigerators, which are then brought to the pitch.well-stocked store on site and very good shopping opportunities in the surrounding villages and markets. Unobtrusive entertainment (the daily aquagym is great), nice events in the evening, but still plenty of peace and relaxation. We will definitely be backPrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Ronald B.October 2013We stayed at the ELS PRATS for two weeks in October and have already booked again for next year, which says it all. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The campsite is kept clean all day long. The site is divided into two parts. Pets are allowed on the left half, but not on the right! The small... supermarket is well stocked and the prices are completely ok. The restaurant is also okay and the menu prices are reasonable. The campsite is no longer the youngest, as you can see from the sanitary facilities on the left-hand side. But as it was always clean, that didn't bother us. We had a beachfront pitch and they are really great. However, I do have one complaint: the power supply on the pitches is very low. All in all, a great little campsite for the whole family!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Doris u.October 2013Excellent, also as a stopover, ACSI and Camp Card site. Wifi 5 hours free. Super sanitary facilities - with single cabins - on the part of the site closed to dogs.
