"Good campsite for the weekend - We were here for the weekend with three caravans/motorhomes. The online booking is great, fast, uncomplicated and we were able to choose the pitches so that we were next to each other or opposite each other. The lady at reception is very nice, the bread roll service is great with delicious bread rolls. Only the outdated sanitary building needs to be renovated. The cleanliness could also be better, there were a lot of cobwebs etc.. All in all, a nice place for our weekend trips.

"Beautiful CP and great for dogs - You can even book a free pitch by making a reservation (online). Is dog and child friendly. Also ideal for the "elderly" ;-). Also suitable for travelers passing through. Only one Gastro +++ (original Franconian) from Wed - Sun within walking distance (5 min. walk). Otherwise delivery service, or LIF city center (+15 min. drive). Info at the CP. GLADLY AGAIN !!!

"Fall 2024 - Very friendly gentleman at the registration desk, the place is really nice, it is quiet and the prices are really still cheap. However, the sanitary facilities are not (or no longer) up to date! We have already been to the site 3 times in 2024 and compared to 2023 the cleanliness and especially the cleaning performance by the service provider was a disaster. Here a cleaning is signed off in the checklists, but no service is provided. For example, soap dispensers were empty immediately afterwards, as they had been the day before. Wet cleaning or disinfection does not take place. The towel paper is refilled and that's it. The two cleaning staff stood in front of the entrances. Yes, the place was almost completely occupied, but to clean here only once a day is not acceptable. The sanitary facilities are from the 80s and it is time to fundamentally renovate and expand them, as the place is quite well received. As the town of Lichtenfels is increasing the prices for 2025 by over 30%, there should also be something in return.

"Summer vacation - A very idyllic campsite directly on the Main with sufficiently large pitches. The bread roll service is excellent. The nearby outdoor pool invites you to cool off outside and the beach bar for a sundowner afterwards. The friendly staff are always ready to help. However, the sanitary building should be given a thorough clean. The aging charm of the 80s is okay if it is clean, but there are deposits of soap residue everywhere and judging by the number of cobwebs, these have not been removed for a long time.

"Never again! - After more than 20 years of camping experience, I have already experienced a lot, but never such an unfriendly and dismissive woman at the reception. Even when we registered, no answer was given to normal questions by email, then we tried to call, no chance!!!! At different times on different days, no one answered the phone. When we arrived we had the feeling that we had better leave, we were not welcome here, as we would probably cause too much work at the registration desk. We were then refused the pitches we had booked and had to go to a large meadow at the end of the campsite. A female camper felt disturbed by our tent set-up and complained to the campsite management, who immediately called the police. We were probably drinking alcohol. 😂 OK, this is supposed to happen on vacation when camping. The police then took our personal details under threat of being sent off. And all this in the afternoon at about 16:00. Great when you feel like a criminal on vacation. Unfortunately, you can't have fun here. For us, a group of 12 men all over 50, this place is out of the question. We don't have to do this. About the buildings: Quite old and in need of renovation, the toilets can only be opened with a chip and smell very bad. All in all, the site seems to be geared more towards permanent campers, and as a short-term camper you have the feeling of being unwanted. Lots of mosquitoes in summer. Better look for another site with friendly staff 😉
