Very rude staff, they shout at their guests and use foul language. I really do not recommend staying here. We experienced this ourselves, a man who works at the campsite came out to the beach and started shouting at us (because we didn't pay for the chairs). He was very aggressive. Our son who is 3 years old was scared and sad. We had to call the police.

The location is great. You can get from nearby Metochi to Hydra by ferry in about half an hour - the ferry ride from here is much cheaper and shorter than from Ermioni. The campsite has its own access to the beach (fine gravel). Beach not particularly scenic, but relatively empty (so good). Beach was... clean. Ermioni is about 15 minutes by car from the campsite. super nice for strolling and eating out. Other day trips: Porto Cheli: Sophisticated, for a stroll Hydra: Simply cross over from Metochi. Metochi approx. 20 minutes away by car Poros: Just as beautiful as Hydra. Insider tip: Volcano on Methana, volcano is still semi-active and relatively unknown. Very beautiful scenery. Outward journey by car: approx. 60 minutes There is no drinkable tap water on the site. It may not be drunk or used for cooking. If you prepare coffee with it, for example, the milk flocculates immediately (as of the end of August 2018). I think it is extracted from the adjacent lake or sea with a desalination plant and still contains salt. The owner may be able to adjust the degree of desalination or treatment and thus actually produce drinkable water. But perhaps this is expensive and he wanted to do without it (?) So perhaps when the campsite is full or when there are "more important" guests, there is actually drinkable drinking water. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were not particularly clean either. The owner probably wanted to save the cost of a cleaning lady because of the low occupancy rate and thought he would clean them himself. He did do a bit of cleaning from time to time - but men are men: They don't even see the dirt, or say to themselves "half as bad".

We have been there 3 times so far, 09, 10 and 11, June and September and have always been very satisfied. Andreas (the owner) is a bit reserved at first but always helpful. The site is very well maintained, ideal for couples with and without small children, not very suitable for teenagers as there is... no party life. The sanitary facilities are very tidy. It is simply tranquillity and pure Greek serenity. There is a small taverna in Thermissia, highly recommended, just after the traffic circle on the left, a few steps up - make sure you take it!!! Very nice day trips can be made from here. All in all, we hope that the place will continue to exist for a long time, we would love to come back!

We were very nicely received and stayed 2 days despite the round trip. Very quiet location, very tidy and very clean sanitary facilities! Simple, family-style food on the family terrace. The beach doesn't look very nice at first glance with its coarse gravel, but at second glance it's very clean! The... water is also very clean, hardly any waves because of the island in front and deep enough. The best thing is that there is hardly anyone else on the beach, so you can swim undisturbed, even with your dog. Unfortunately, there is no major infrastructure nearby. Mountain bikers don't have far to go on empty roads to various hills / mountain ranges!
