- Heiko G.September 2018PozytywneNice base station to great hiking area in short distance.NegatywneDespite good cleanliness, the sanitary facilities are a bit dated. At the foot of Glen AfficSimply a great area for hiking and road cycling or mountain biking. And this campsite is the perfect base: small, manageable, nice pitches, very quiet and a few places to sit for campers. The café looks nice, but unfortunately everything in the UK closes at 5pm... It's not far to the town, but it's better to have done your shopping on the way.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Klaas K.July 2018PozytywnePeace and quiet Good hiking opportunities Dedicated site operatorNegatywneSanis very old, but cleanPeace and quiet in Glen AffricA wonderful place with a good stock of trees, which also offers tents many beautiful pitches. The owner is very committed and gives lots of tips for hiking (and probably also for mountain biking, which we didn't test). The site is in a very quiet location, the sanitary facilities are a bit dated. You... might want to go shopping for supplies beforehand, as the supermarket in the village has a very limited range. But the surrounding area is worthwhile, we hiked there a lot and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We can also recommend the breakfast in the café on site.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Andreas und Petra S.June 2015Any time againA cozy little site with lots of large trees. The pitches are generously laid out and mostly consist of gravel areas with adjoining lawns. There are also nice pitches for tents. There is a recreation room with a TV and a café. The dog walk leads to a soccer pitch where our dogs were allowed to let off steam. Despite the bad weather, we felt very comfortable here.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Marleen A.August 2012We were there in 2012. It takes about half an hour to drive from Loch Ness to a very remote part of Scotland. The nature here is really wild and we liked it best. The campsite is in a small village. You can't really buy much there. There is only a mini store in the village and a pub. There is a small... café on the campsite itself, which was also very nice and clean. The pitches are surrounded by large trees and you can choose your own little spot wherever you like. We were there with a tent, but there were also good pitches for caravans. The sanitary facilities were a bit old but ok so far. The number of midges was relatively low on this campsite, which we were very pleased about. The CP management was very nice. We rented mountain bikes and went to Glen Affric (more for the experienced) but it was really nice. Pure tranquillity! No tourists! Highly recommended for adventure seekers and those looking for peace and quiet!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
