The CP is getting on in years. Very soft ground when it rains.
For 1 night o.k.
The campsite is basically in a beautiful location, very quiet. The sanitary facilities are old but clean. O.k. for 1 night.

The Tornionjoki is the largest free-flowing salmon river in Europe. No costs for the overnight stay!
A place for anglers
We only met anglers on the site. The reception was closed, there was no sign for check-in and the sanitary facilities including the kitchen were not inviting. The very friendly anglers are more interested in fishing than in cleanliness and tidiness.

For 1 night O.K. if you do not make great demands on cleanliness, the beautiful location directly on the river is of no use.

I was here for the 3rd time after 1995 and 2005. Very nice location directly on the river, on the border with Sweden. At the moment, however, the campsite makes a rather unkempt impression. The sanitary facilities are worn out and not very clean, the tent pitches have been torn up by WOMOs, the garbage... cans have not been emptied and there is no firewood at the dirty barbecue areas. The campsite is heavily used by anglers during the fishing season. No WLan!
