Bread roll service, large pitches always between two trees on a meadow. Two sanitary buildings, one older and separated by gender, the other newer, but not separated by gender, clean. Walking distance... to Lourdes approx. 1km. We can also recommend the cable car, from the top you have a fantastic view over the whole valley. For a short stay not such a problem.Small and quite quiet on the outskirts of LourdesSmall and rather quiet campsite on the outskirts of Lourdes (67 pitches+8 mobile homes). Through roads border the campsite. Mostly semi-shaded pitches of approx. 100m2; pitches are slightly sloping and quite close together. Electricity (max.)10A, WiFi (free) is good. Sanitary facilities are in order... and well cleaned. Few water points. Nice small swimming pool. Friendly operator. Accessibility to campsite from road network is fine, also the pitches themselves are easily accessible. Bread service (baguette). Large super (Leclerc) at 5 car minutes from campsite (along N-21 just outside Lourdes. Camping is ca.3 km from the Sanctuary and is easily accessible both on foot and by bike (on foot ca. 40 min. by bike ca. 15 min. climbing and descending). Many campers stay there - at least in spring/autumn - for a short time (1-3 days) to visit Sanctuary or as a stopover. There is near the campground a beautiful bicycle route ('Voie Verte') in southern direction via a former railroad line. The route runs between beautiful mountainous areas and various places, is almost flat and therefore also doable without E-bike/mountain bike.
