Profil

Camping Idyll is located in southern Hungary on the edge of the idyllic village of Nagyváty. The campsite can be reached via road no. 6, which runs between the two historic towns of Pécs and Szigetvár near the Croatian border. … The exit is well signposted. After 2.5 km you will reach the village. The former estate with numerous fruit and nut trees, a fountain and a large pond with various species of ducks is situated in an oasis of peace on 2.8 ha of beautiful nature. The site has 27 pitches (for caravans or motorhomes) with electricity and a large lawn for about 10 tents, as well as a clean sanitary building. If you choose to spend your holiday at our campsite, you will be travelling to unspoilt nature with lots of culture. You will have the opportunity to get to know the area and its people just outside the village. At Camping Idyll you will not find lovers of mass tourism, but pure connoisseurs. We, your Dutch host and my African-Dutch wife, offer you our personal service and show you the way to the unknown hinterland and, if you wish, we can also arrange various excursions for you. At Camping Idyll there is a cosy inn, which is housed in a nostalgic old wine house. The restaurant has a beautiful terrace and is situated in a quiet courtyard. In high season you can dine there 2 days a week. Sanitary facilities: Camping Idyll has a clean, modern sanitary building with a total of 8 toilets (4 for ladies / 4 for men); 6 showers. (3 for women / 3 for men); 8 washbasins (4 for women / 4 for men); a cistern for chemical toilets and a toilet / shower for disabled persons. There are 5 sink areas with double sinks. The whole is equipped with hot and cold water, hand soap, paper towels and toilet paper. Fresh rolls: From Monday to Saturday you can enjoy a delicious breakfast with fresh bread rolls. If you place your order at reception before five o'clock, it will be delivered to your pitch in the morning. Vegetable garden: For garden lovers, we have also created a vegetable garden where you can help out and where you can of course pick your fresh vegetables for a small fee.
