Kirsten R.avril 2025Pozytywne- Beautiful location - directly on the water - everyone very friendly and helpful - quiet location - many excursion destinations nearby - everything included like electricity, waterNegatywne- For children only the beach section with water and a great playground but you have to walk a little further.Great place to campWe were there for the first time over the last Easter weekend with two people and our new Nagel large four-man tunnel tent, and it was also our first time camping. It was the best choice as everything was just right. Great weather, great atmosphere and top location on the water. The staff were super friendly and helpful. And the location was great.
We will be back again! :)

We were there without a car due to our age. That was difficult. It was very practical that the hut had its own bathroom with toilet and sink (cold water). The outdoor area includes a sun-protected terrace with seating and its own barbecue, so you could sit outside and eat when it was dry. The lake, which has a sandy beach that gives you that vacation feeling, was just a stone's throw away.NegatywneThe forest lodge has a bunk bed with hard mattresses that you probably wouldn't last more than two nights on. The older fridge, which is located in the kitchenette next to the larger bed, hums louder at night, but you get used to it. For rainy days, you would have to bring an electric stove to be able to cook, as there are no cooking facilities in the forest lodge (the barbecue in the outdoor area is not covered like the terrace). Our friends in the neighboring lodge had a constantly dripping tap (but this can certainly be repaired).Weekend vacation in the forest lodgeAs a family of four, we stayed in the large forest lodge for two nights. Our friends had requested another forest lodge and two pitches right next door. We had a great weekend at the campsite by the lake. We found what we were looking for at Dülmener See and can only recommend this little corner of the world with a clear conscience. Everything is very clean and well-kept, from the facilities to the sanitary area. We had a pazelle with its own... WC and shower. Wonderful!
We also had 2 young cats on board who were able to move around freely on a lead. The lake is really beautifully situated in a wooded area and there is also the possibility to take a SUP course there, which is still relatively cheap. We can't say anything negative even after thinking about it for a long time. The employees from the gardener to the boss were very friendly and accommodating.
We live only 20km away and will definitely spend a weekend there again.

When I arrived I was welcomed as if we had known each other for a long time. Really very friendly and super personable family who run the place. The site itself is very well-kept and nobody can fault the sandy ground (which other people sometimes criticize). The small permanent... camping lodges are really neat and tidy, not the standardized plastic that you see on other campsites. For children, there is not only the sandy beach by the lake, but there are also SUP courses here and there are lots of things to do with kids all around (Ketteler Hof, wild horses, etc.). Back to the campsite, the toilets and the wash house have apparently only recently been modernized and are very clean. I'll try to see the lodges and the tent lodges that you can rent there in person next time I'm there. They make a really great impression from the outside. There are large wheelbarrows so that we don't have to carry things from the car. There are garbage cans everywhere on the Zeugnisse. You can see it either way. I constantly had to remind the children not to carry everything into the tent. But that's how children are. The showers should also be a bit closer. There were mainly families here, and I can only recommend the campsite to them. The children can swim wonderfully here no matter what age. We didn't use the restaurant.
