"beautiful place, just over the border - The site is not far from the German border, close to Denekamp and cycle paths and the "Christmas wonderland" of Oosterik. The pitches are big enough, but unfortunately the water still pools for days after the rain. Bread rolls from 8 am. Sanitary facilities good, but we had the impression that the floors were not cleaned during our stay. (in the 2nd sanitary building) The lighting is not available on some fields, so we had to go to the sanitary building in the dark with a flashlight. A flashlight was also an advantage there, as the motion detectors in the washrooms only come on when you have walked through the whole room. (2nd sanitary building) However, as the price for the pitch was very reasonable, you have to overlook the little things. Plenty of space for children to play. Staff very friendly. Cycle paths start right outside the door, you can easily cycle to Denekamp, Oldenzaal, Hengelo, Enschede or Nordhorn and Lingen.

"Flooded tent and pitches - I drive home before the next rain. With a caravan, only the awning is messed up, at least you sleep dry. Unsuitable for tent vacationers.

"A great campsite with a lot of potential for improvement - We stayed at this campsite in the fall. On arrival we were given a friendly welcome at reception and it was no problem to change to a higher-quality pitch with private sanitary facilities. Arriving on our large pitch in the sunshine, we immediately felt at home. However, this changed in rainy weather. The pitch, and not only here, had large puddles where the water lingered for a long time. The access road with a bend to our pitch J32 was rutted and very muddy, which does not do justice to a comfort pitch. In the beautiful restaurant, with covered terrace and very courteous staff, you could eat very tasty, here the prices were high. A nice swimming pool, many small and large playgrounds spread over the entire campsite, daily entertainment was offered. Summary: Nice campsite with a few construction sites, which the new operator will certainly rectify.

"Good location with shortcomings - We stayed at this campsite for 10 days. The location is very good, from here you can make great trips by bike to the nearby towns (Nordhorn, Lingen, Meppen, Denekamp). The staff are very friendly. The place has very good facilities. In my opinion, much more work needs to be done on the details. Water taps splash in all directions, drains in the showers sometimes do not drain properly, the cleanliness in the second wash house (G area) leaves a lot to be desired, of course if it is only cleaned in the morning when fully occupied. It is also unpleasant that the roof of the swimming pool is not opened at 30 degrees outside temperature because it is defective.
