Beautiful place not far from the sea
We stayed at this great campsite for a week in mid-June. The direct access to the sea is important to us, after a 5 minute walk we were on the long sandy beach. At high tide it is relatively narrow, about 8-10 m, at low tide it is about 200 m. The pitches are sandy and only offer partial shade. The sanitary... facilities are clean and well maintained. Own swimming pool, which seems a little too small for the high season. A small supermarket directly in front of the site, otherwise plenty of shopping opportunities in St. Jean de Monts, 5 km away.

Recommended place
We (2 adults & 2 children aged 8+14) stayed at the campsite in August. We liked it there, as the site is on the edge of the dunes a bit away from the main road. It is about a 5-10 minute walk to the uncrowded beach. The pitch assigned to us was very large and was partly under trees but directly on the... main road, so that everyone could see into the awning. (Well, individual fate) We liked the supply options. There were several stores in front of the entrance (bakery, supermarket, bar and fish store). Various activities are offered for children (but mine didn't make use of them). The clientele are mainly French and few Germans.

We'll be back here next year
It was my wife's first attempt to book a week on a campsite with the family. Normally we always rent larger houses, but they are never so close to beautiful sandy beaches at affordable prices. This year, we first had a lovely vacation home in South Brittany for two weeks, followed immediately by a week... at this beautifully located campsite. We had a large and surprisingly well-furnished mobile home for us, the two girls (aged 6 and 9) and our two greyhounds, and a few hundred meters away a 25 m² tent with a shower for the three boys aged 13, 15 and 16. Unfortunately, the boys spent most of their time in the tent playing computer games despite the wonderful weather, and occasionally used the pool. Once we "forced" them to come to the beach with us. We took the dogs to the almost deserted beach every morning before breakfast and let them run around. We did the same in the evening after a late dinner. During the day, we also went to the beach once or twice a day with the girls to romp in the waves and swim a little. Otherwise, there is a riding stables nearby (5-10 minutes by car), which we visited three times with the girls, as well as a paintball course twice with the boys and once we all went banana boating on a nearby lake. These were the highlights for the boys. We are currently booking exactly the same two accommodations again for 3 weeks in 2015 with an early booking discount. That says it all about the campsite :-) P.S. About the shopping facilities in the "vicinity". There are several real supermarkets 5 to 8 km away. This also includes a LIDL for those in the habit of shopping.

We were here with two children at the end of July. A friendly welcome, our pitch was in a quiet location, only a few meters from our own beach access. Unfortunately, we had to take our children to the swimming pool, as a road crossing is necessary here. Very good cycle paths right from the campsite.... Nice excursions possible by bike or on foot. The beach is quite empty even in high season, very nice beach. It was a great vacation and we got to know some nice people.
