Imposing location in the middle of the Lauterbrunnen valley. Quiet at night, apart from the Weisse Lütschine (river). Gigantic friendliness, almost too much ;-) and a small café with very good food.

Location somewhat remote, but with public transport connections and directly on a walking/hiking trail A few helicopters in the air during the day
Super weekend spent
Super location in the middle of the valley, great starting point for hikes etc. Imposing directly under the very high rock face - wow.
As big as the rock, so big is the friendliness, quasi camping with family connection. The small café is simple but with lots of love and good snacks. Presumably no guest... is turned away, the owners even sacrificed their seat for a pitch...
Our pitch, reserved in advance, was very large for our Womi and in a good location. The toilets / showers / washing up all a bit older but perfectly clean and everything worked.
In conclusion, we will be back and the campsite can be warmly recommended if you like a simple pitch.

We stayed for 9 nights and it is a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area.
Situated S of Lauterbrunnen which is only 35mins walk away down a quiet lane, Alternatively you can the bus from outside the door.
Long established site founded in 1966.

Small, cozy campsite
Small, cozy campsite in the Lauterbrunnen valley. Great views with a unique mountain backdrop. Sanitary facilities are simple, functional, clean and well maintained.

Great Campsite and Kind owner.
When we arrived the owner kindly showed us around and told us where to park (even helped parking and levelling the van) We ordered bread, although it was later than asked, our order was accepted! The grass was perfect and so was the sanitary area! I recommend this campsite in 100%

Free ski bus to the "Schilthornbahnen" and "Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Jungfrau", that means the trails.

A little need of time to access the trails via bus, train and cableways.
Campsite surrounded by nature between the top locations of the Bernese Oberland
Family owned place, on a very beautiful location, mountain views in 4 directions, very well located to the "Jungfraubahn, Grindelwald, Mürren, Schynige Platte, Schilthornbahn" and "Truemmelbachfaelle" that means waterfalls. The site has all basics what you absolutely need for camping, clean sanitary... facilities, a small store and ambience as well as very friendly place owner in one of the most beautiful corners of "Berner Oberland". Good value for money for Switzerland.

Family-run campsite in a great location
We only spent one day there. However, we can also recommend the site for a longer stay and plan to do so on our next trip. Good value for money.

The campsite is a well organised family owned site. There are pitches for tents, caravans and mobiles. Power is available on many pitches. There is a well-stocked shop on site. The site is five-minutes walk from the Trummelbach Falls, and thirty-minutes stroll from Lauterbrunnen and Stechelberg cable-cars.... The local bus stops outside the site. There are magnificent mountain views in all directions. In 2013 the site was just as clean and well managed as always.
