"Relaxing and quiet - We have been coming at the turn of the year for several years and have been to the campsite twice at Easter. We have always enjoyed it very much. The booking conditions are great, the site is very clean and quiet. The pitches are spacious and have water and drainage. There are plenty of fresh bread rolls and things for daily needs in the camping store. Gas bottles are available for exchange. We always had a good rest. The staff are very friendly. On December 31, all guests are always invited to drink mulled wine and eat doughnuts, which is a very nice gesture. Checking in was uncomplicated. What we didn't like so much this winter was that the electricity often failed. There was only lukewarm or cold water in the small wash house. It was not heated. The windows could not be opened and it always smelled very unpleasantly damp from the dishwasher and in the toilet room. It should be aired out. The skylights were also always closed. Although the site was still well utilized, the wash house was closed on 3 January. I expect more comfort in the sanitary buildings at a 5-star campsite, i.e. hairdryers, seats with cushions, spacing or partitions between the washbasins. There is also no drying room for towels and wet clothes. A heated lounge is also missing, especially in winter. The small snack bar, which also offered a warm corner outside, is commendable. We also missed the winter service. There was snow and black ice and it was not gritted. The price was raised, but it felt like nothing was improved. We very much hope that the campsite management can secure the power supply this year and create a few amenities. Conclusion: The campsite is quiet and very well maintained. It is right by the sea and the town is within walking distance. If you are happy with basic comfort, you will want for nothing here. You can relax very well and enjoy the peace and quiet.

"A beautiful campsite with a need for action - All in all, actually a nice vacation 2025 in August. A very nice campsite and beautifully situated as a starting point for excursions. The pitch allocated to us was equipped with water and electricity and was absolutely fine in terms of space - between small trees and bushes as a separation. There was close access to the beautiful beach. A cycle path runs directly alongside the camp. The sanitary facilities are okay, but the shower cubicles are a bit cramped and the hot water is limited at peak times, which I personally don't like if I have to take a cold shower. The price for the pitch is just about reasonable, but it shouldn't cost more. We didn't visit the restaurant, but it makes a great impression. Active children have a harder time on the campsite as there is only a small playground and the passage to the beach is very busy and difficult to see. The campsite offers nothing for young people aged 12 and over, e.g. a soccer pitch, kite field, table football or pinball or simply a place where young people can meet and hang out with people of the same age.

"No 5 stars for me - The campsite has an excellent location right on the beach. Unfortunately it does not deserve 5 stars as the water for showers was preset by the campsite management so that there was only lukewarm water. We would have liked to have been able to take a hot shower after a cold winter's day. The pitches were normal average with no paved surface, so when it rained the pitches were soggy. The access roads to the pitches are also unpaved. The small store on the campsite has everything a camper needs and is well stocked. Fresh bread rolls were also available every morning.

"Pure relaxation! - A very nice CP. We were there with the camper van, including the dog. Ideal for cycling tours in the region, with a clean beach right in front of the campsite. We can only recommend the small towns of Zingst and Prerow. The CP is very good, but it still has some potential for 5 stars. For example, we missed showers on the beach or in the CP entrance area without having to go to a sanitary building. In sanitary facilities I and III, several doors have to be opened before you reach your destination. These are all equipped with door latches and not door catches, which we find rather unhygienic. As a result, the doors remain open. Very little storage space in the showers in Sanitary III. We will definitely visit the campsite again and can only recommend it.

"Very good campsite - I have nothing to complain about here, except if you want to check in before 2 pm you have to pay 10 euros extra, although opening hours are from 7 am to 10 pm and no lunch time is indicated.

The campsite "Am Freesenbruch" is embedded between Baltic Sea and the quiet beauty of the Bodden in the midst of the delightful national park "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft". There are only 100 meters to the almost endless white sand beach. By us …you can find all amenities the camper heart covets: - three large sanitary buildings - wellness and fitness center "Freesen Lounge" - restaurant "Zum Deichgrafen" with a young, creative and exceptionally good cooking - "Campi Shop" of which range is completely matched on the wishes of the campers - beer garden: in the summertime there we have every week open-air-fish buffet, live music, snack, smoke fish and sausage - rich offer to recreational with a professional animation team in the summer - playground The offer is completed by a service station for supply and disposal of the travel mobiles. We also have a gas exchange station, tenancy bathrooms, baby change/ bathrooms, bathrooms for handicapped people, washing mashines and dryer, station for washing the dishes , a fish cleaning place and dog shower. Further you can use the internet terminal or internet access by W-LAN HotSpot in the restaurant. We look forward to your visit.
