The way down the hill to San Zeno is a little difficult on foot.

The campsite is laid out in terraces on a gentle slope above San Zeno di Montagna - the village is a 15-minute walk down the hill (bakery, coffee bar, small supermarket, petrol station, salumeria, cheese dairy, other restaurants). The site is absolutely quiet and offers plenty of shade from the trees;... we were not put off by the permanent campers. The sanitary facilities are okay; there is a good pizzeria/restaurant next to the site with a great view of the lake, a wonderful evening atmosphere, friendly staff and food at an excellent price/performance ratio - many Italians also come here as guests. A great place for those seeking peace and quiet; by car to Castelletto on the lakeshore in about 20 minutes down a mountain road - and you're right in the middle of the action!
