Anyone who earns money (the Plat is not cheap) must also invest. We were there 3 weeks ago. The access to the site is an imposition. We are frequent travelers and are often off the beaten track with our van. But we reached our limits here, we touched down twice and almost knocked the trailer over. Once... we reached the top, it wasn't any better, a wild meadow with wild hedges and a muddy open kitchen. Everything made an unkempt impression. I can't say anything about the sanitary facilities, as we were quickly gone again. Downstairs, we first had to repair the entrance.

A nice real campground
Everything essential and with well-maintained facilities.Nice comfortable place. The last part of the road a little bumpy but calmly you get there without problems.

Small, charming organic campsite
We stayed at this campsite for three nights with our motorhome and felt very comfortable there. The site is square with six pitches. In the middle is a covered communal area with tables and benches. There is a small sanitary building with two separate washrooms, showers and toilets, a disabled bathroom... and outside sinks for washing up. The hot water is generated by solar energy. The operator Livio himself lives 100 meters away in his small house and farms all around. You can buy the food he harvests or preserves. All organic! The nearest supermarket is a few kilometers away. There is a horse, two dogs, chickens and ducks. If you feel like it, you can get a fresh egg in the morning. The view of the Tuscan countryside is great, the peace and quiet unique! Even our children (7 and 11) really enjoyed their stay. They looked after the horse, romped with the dogs or just played ball or frisbee in the meadow. And we enjoyed Livio's delicious organic wine. The next village is Lari. We rode there on our mopeds for about 20 minutes. Lari has the smallest pasta factory in Italy and you can visit it. Conclusion: a small, charming campsite in the middle of Tuscany with no frills! But beware: very narrow and steep access road!!! But Livio helps and pulls you with his tractor.
