As is standard procedure in such cases, a map showing how to reach your accommodation was emailed to you to help you find your way independently. In fact, we’re currently considering a renovation project for the old restroom building located just below the Slow Lodges. We are truly sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the cleanliness of your accommodations. This level of quality is not what we aim to provide to our guests.
When you brought the situation to our attention upon your arrival, I apologized and offered to have... the room cleaned again immediately. You chose not to accept this offer. To make amends for this inconvenience, we also offered to treat you to a drink at the bar as well as croissants the following morning, an offer you also declined. Finally, to address this situation, we asked that you not clean the unit before your departure.
We recently took over this campground, which required significant renovation work, and we are doing everything we can every day to improve the quality of our services. This in no way excuses this oversight, but we hope that the efforts we’ve made and the solutions we offered on-site demonstrate our commitment to satisfying our guests.
We regret that, despite our apologies and our proposals, you were left with such a negative impression of your stay. We thank you nonetheless for your feedback, which helps us continue to improve.

A warm welcome, flat campsites, very spacious and offering a mix of partial shade and partial sun, with no risk of damage even in strong winds. The restrooms have been completely renovated by the new management. The campground is very well maintained, and—the “cherry on top”—it’s right next to a water recreation area on Lake Bournazel.
