The atmosphere on site (with the friendly team) is very good. All requests are dealt with courteously. The high standard of comfort is confirmed time and again and new ideas are implemented. Basically, we liked everything. We were given a warm and relaxed welcome and as the site was not so busy, we were immediately offered a better pitch that we hadn't reserved, which we thought was really great. The sanitary facilities... and the whole site were clean and well maintained. There was a FOOD trolley for two hours on both evenings, which was also well received. And there were always fresh bread rolls in the morning. We took our bikes to the neighboring towns of Malente and Eutin, which were easy to reach...

Of course, there are also plenty of top-quality products to buy in the store and the bread rolls you can order are absolutely delicious. If you like cake, you won't be able to eat just one piece. The quiet location on the outskirts of Eutin convinced us, especially as you can get to Eutin quickly by bike/car.
The Paltz is very well maintained, the staff is always nice and helpful.
Due to the autumn weather,... it was an advantage that we had a pitch with a "platform", i.e. a paved area in front of the caravan, so we could always sit outside cleanly and had a clean entrance to the caravan.
The sanitary facilities were always clean and the wash cabins and shower cubicles were available in sufficient numbers.
As the site is marked as "dog-friendly", you have to be prepared for the fact that there are and were many dog owners there, but this didn't bother us at all, there was no "barking" or similar.

She is simply everywhere and helps me with the washing machine, for example, when it is full of fluff again or she cooks extra jam for me because it tastes so delicious. I have traveled to many campsites, but this one is my absolute favorite! Everything is just right!
Especially great is the unique location and the friendliness of all the people who work there! (and also... the other guests, there just always seem to be particularly friendly campers there!😉

I particularly liked the Syrian food truck! Very tasty and absolutely recommendable!

The location, directly on the Kellersee, with two private bathing areas and a jetty for canoes etc., which you can hire on site, is simply great. The idea with the daily changing... food trucks is brilliant and the range of regional products is exemplary.
I could already enjoy another nice cold Eutiner Tafelbier on tap.
