One downside is the water access system that requires a payment card; in our view, this often leads to the sinks not being cleaned after people have rinsed off. Unfortunately, the access road to the campground is in very poor condition.

The restrooms are clean and tidy. We were pleasantly surprised by the cost of dishwashing and laundry. The lighting at the campground... could be improved. Although it’s right next to the highway interchange, you can hardly hear any noise from it. The access road to the campground, however, is in need of repair… For us as dog owners, it was pleasant on hot summer days to take the “dog walk” through the “little... woods” with a stop at what we affectionately call the “dog watering hole” (the small back entrance to the lake with a bench to sit on). What wasn’t so great for my partner, who has difficulty walking, was that the restroom building was a bit far from our campsite. It would have been nice to have another one at the other end…
Otherwise, the staff were always friendly and the campground was always clean.

The pictures online don’t match reality.
The showers were very moldy,
There was only Wi-Fi at the front desk; no cell service. (And this in 2026???)
The rental raft was absolutely covered in bird droppings, the windows were so dirty you could barely... see through them, the depth sounder didn’t work, and the anchors were way too small….)
In my opinion, the campground is in dire need of investment.

Vodafone didn't have internet coverage, and the connection from the campground didn't reach our site (38) either.
But that’s really the only thing—otherwise, from the hospitality to the amenities (rentals / events), everything was great.
