A week off
We spent a week at the Hümmlinger Land campground and felt completely at home. The campground is beautifully situated, the campsites are spacious, and the restroom facilities were always very clean and well-maintained. Overall, the entire campground makes a very good and welcoming impression.

The pool... and the new sauna are currently still undergoing renovations. However, we’re convinced that this area will significantly enhance the campground’s offerings in the future.

We give it a clear recommendation and full marks. We’d love to come back!

We charge €2.60 per night for the electrical hookup. This includes 4 kWh per night. For two nights,... the charge was therefore €5.20, including a total of 8 kWh. Your total consumption was 16 kWh. The 8 additional kWh consumed were then charged at €0.65 per kWh, also totaling €5.20.

We also sent two emails regarding this matter. According to our system, both messages were opened. We are therefore sorry to hear that you indicate you did not receive a reply. We hope this explanation clarifies the calculation.

Hümmlingerland, a pristine oasis
Just for the location, showers, restrooms, and reception, this is a great campground. If that’s all you need, then the campground gets a perfect ten. What wasn’t good was advertising a swimming pool that isn’t there (yet). The internet also lacks sufficient bandwidth. I paid extra for it but ended up not using it at all. Unfortunately, cell phone reception at the campground is also limited to 4G, sometimes 4G+, and sometimes even less.

Unfortunately, cell phone reception varies depending on the carrier and your location on the campground. We have only limited control over this.

We'll be back!
Very clean and tidy, with polite guests (Dutch is also spoken here; the staff speaks both German and English). The fact that this place is family-run is a huge plus. And one unique feature is the PitPat facility, which we really enjoyed. The barefoot trail is for the hardy—we laughed a lot despite our aching feet.

I really liked the campground. You get information about check-in in advance. You can order bread rolls through a camping app,
and they were very tasty. We also tried a pizza and the tarte flambée—delicious. I also went on some lovely walks with our dog. With the friendly staff keeping you well taken care of and informed, you can have a great time there. The restrooms were clean and tidy at all times.

Long weekend
We stayed at your campground from June 4–7, 2026, and were able to book our tent site online without any issues.
It also worked out perfectly that we were able to arrive about two hours early due to the weather.
The campground has everything you need.
