Buďte první! - Thorsten W.září 2025Autumn magicWe had booked the September offer from 1.9.-30.09.2025. We didn't know the campsite beforehand. And we were pleasantly surprised. Such a beautiful, clean and dog-friendly site. Very nice and friendly staff. A small but nice kiosk with the option of ordering bread rolls and delicious coffee and cake.... You can also have breakfast there. Very clean sanitary facilities and the surrounding area is ideal for hiking and cycling. The only point of criticism (for which the campsite operator cannot be held responsible) is the country road that runs past the campsite, where you are allowed to drive at 100 km/h and the noise level is therefore somewhat higher. Maybe we can get the town of Werlte to impose a speed limit 😉.

On the subject of the country road passing by: We understand your comment very... well. We actually submitted an application to the district for a speed reduction five years ago, which was unfortunately rejected at the time. However, we submitted a new application last month and are hoping for a positive outcome this time. 🍀

We particularly liked the modern sanitary facilities. But the barefoot path is also great. On the campsite itself, we were impressed by the lounge (hotplate, kettle, fridge and socket for charging cell... phones) - not every campsite has that. At the kiosk itself, the friendly staff serve delicious pizza and refreshing cocktails.
