"Great nature campsite with many amenities - Dogs are not allowed off the lead in high season. A separately fenced "dog meadow" area would be great. Then there would also be 6 stars 😉

"Lots going on at the dune camp - Attention, sand! :) Sand is of course omnipresent, but the pitches are pretty much all on grass. They are available in all variations. With the four-wheel drive or camper on the dune or classically on level ground. The staff are very friendly, almost all speak German and make extras easy to arrange. The store offers all sorts of things and fresh bread rolls can be ordered there. Once you've hopped over the dunes, you're already on the beach. Vejers is easily accessible on foot or by bike. The price per night is very high, but the location is quite exclusive. There are lots of cars driving to and fro, as many people like to drive to the beach. They all have to return to the campsite in the evening. I find the electricity prices very exorbitant.

"Poserplatz, see and be seen for people with enough money. - The last time I was here was in 2011 and we always had legendary parties over Whitsun. The site now belongs to the Hvidberg Group, which operates a 6-star!!! campsite in Blavand. Unfortunately, this is now rubbing off on the place and the charm is lost for me. You used to check in, then choose a pitch and set up there, but now everything is parceled out, so the freedom is lost to some extent. Our pitch, which we chose on the interactive map, was unfortunately not in a dune as we had hoped, but in a hollow and so wet that the water was already coming out of the ground just by standing there. Very annoying. The wash houses are all new buildings, chic in black with light thatched roofs and elegant interiors. Showers, cooking and automatic dishwashers are included. There are family bathrooms, but no special bathrooms for children. If you need it, you'll like it, I'm a camper, not a glamper! And while we're at it, children are accepted here in my opinion, but nothing more. The site is quite large, but there is only one playground, which is not bad, but too small. We didn't discover any other facilities for children. The campsite is aimed more at wealthy glampers and vanlifers. Unfortunately, for me this no longer has much to do with nature camping. For me, nature camping means enjoying, respecting and honoring nature. Unfortunately, I can't see that in many of the guests here. (Unfortunately, this also applies to more and more guests at other campsites, especially since the flood of new corona campers). Now you can argue that the site operator can't do anything about it, but I think that a site operator also has an influence on the guests he wants to attract with his orientation. Conclusion: We didn't feel so comfortable here. It was okay for the few days, but nothing more. We prefer the little unknown gems off the beaten track.

"Vacation April May 2024 - A fantastically beautiful campsite in the dunes. Direct access to the sea via steep paths or by car, as the beach can be driven on. The fully accessible dune area is ideal for dog owners. However, dogs must be kept on a lead. When booking, you should enquire in advance about the Danish military's firing exercises. Days are announced on the Internet. As we have a toilet and shower in the caravan, we cannot say anything about the washroom.
