Assessment
I visit the campsite skjern a. since2012, every year 2 months.
It is a quiet site ideal for anglers.
The sanitary facilities have been in very poor condition since my first visit. Black mold everywhere, on the shower walls over a large area in the washing areas in every joint and crack (photos from June... 2012 available). Despite complaints, nothing was done. No investment here, just cashing in. The health of the guests is of no interest to the owners.
In the whole time (2012-2021), I have not once seen a hut being littered, although guests with large dogs had also rented them.
I had also booked 4 weeks fishing vacation again this year, and on arrival 16.6.21
paid in cash. After exactly 14 days I canceled the vacation. The operator was supposed to take the meter reading and submit it with the bill. Of course, he had forgotten to do this again, so the owner estimated the electricity consumption. She demanded 300 DDK for one person, TV and fridge, which is fraud in my eyes. A portion of the rent paid was also not returned.
A word to the owner, the Pope marries before he says good day.
I will continue to vacation in DK, but never again at Skjern a camping

Well-located in beautiful nature
Skjern Å Camping is located "in the middle" of the restored Skjern Å valley. SUPER location for exploring the whole area - long walks in the area with bridges, ferries etc. can start directly from the campsite! Very well-organized/well-kept site - with very friendly hosts (and site dogs!) - the site is also very dog-friendly, large air areas immediately outside the site. The sanitary facilities are nice and clean, but somewhat "worn"

Cozy campsite in beautiful nature. The sanitary facilities are old but clean. Only suitable for children if they are interested in nature - there is only a very small playground. But great for those looking for peace and quiet, hiking and cycling. Very friendly reception
