Our agricultural camping site “Rancone Lodges” is located on a beautiful estate on the banks of the river Serchio in the Garfagnana in Tuscany. This is an authentic part of Italy where time has stood still and where tourism has … not yet penetrated. Experience the luxury of our fully equipped accommodations or find your own spot at one of the free camping pitches along the river. If you choose our lodges or bell tents, you will have no stress on arrival. Just an hour and a half drive from Pisa, you will be surrounded by an oasis of peace, nature and culture. The campsite, located on an estate of no less than 30 hectares, is spaciously laid out. No straight rows with us, but wonderful accommodations with lots of comfort and privacy. You can start the day well with a cup of coffee on your own terrace, overlooking the horses and sheep pasture, with the babbling river behind it. In the distance on top of the mountain you can see the old castle “Fortezza delle Verrucole” and the picturesque medieval villages. Settle yourself with a good book on the deck by the river while the kids have hours of fun building dams. Or take a cool dip in the swimming pool and have breakfast on our cozy lounge terrace next to it. In the evening you can enjoy an authentic Italian meal in the restaurant. Several times a week the pizza oven is switched on and we enjoy a pleasant evening together at long tables while enjoying a good glass of wine. In short, a nice and comfortable place for young and old to enjoy a wonderful relaxing holiday in Tuscany.
