Positive ting
Idyllically located
Negative ting
The campground is open on all sides, so we were disturbed twice in the middle of the night, which is why I won't be going back there.
Camping on a Farm
Since we cannot guarantee the camper's safety here on the site—not recommended!!!!!!!!!

Positive ting
Comfortable pitches with everything you need on the pitch. Very clean sanitary facilities and friendly operators. Great for children: playground, vehicles and animals are also available. The urge for adventure is definitely awakened here. There is a bread roll service and a vending machine for quick regional remedies/products, or even sweets
Negative ting
A little tip: don't follow the satnav on site, but the signs. Yes, the entrance is several hundred meters earlier than the navigation system says.
Cozy campsite
We received a very friendly and proactive welcome. Because we were here so early in the year, we had an almost free choice of pitches. The pitches are open and spacious, with water, drainage and electricity available on site. Our pitches were extremely level and only minimal alignment was necessary....
The children enjoyed the abundance of vehicles and were on the pitch almost all day. The sanitary facilities were remarkably clean, but I can imagine that it can get a bit cramped in high season.
We would love to come back, the whole family loved it

Playground and vehicles for children, friendly operators, quiet and very clean and well-kept.

Small and very relaxing
We stayed here for three nights while passing through. We really enjoyed it. The children could play in the playground with water, play in the sand and the many vehicles were a highlight. As campers we could cool our milk for coffee in the fridge. The sanitary facilities were always very clean and well... maintained. We could go for a walk from here, to Medebach to the large playground and in the neighboring village Küstelberg in the Schoßbergalm very nice to eat.

quiet very good infrastructure great operators spacious pitches good starting point for hikes there is also a great playground for children
Negative ting
a little off the beaten track but that's all !!! :-)
Top campsite and TOP operator
We were there at the end of June 2022 - a week for hiking.
We have rarely had such a well-maintained site.
Spacious pitches, water, waste water (gray water) and electricity, everything directly on site.
Sanitary facilities very clean and modern. Finally a site that does without these nonsensical shower... tokens.
Also 5 stars for the operators! Friendly and very helpful and uncomplicated.
We were able to start some tours directly from the campsite, but for Rothaarsteig stages you have to drive 15-20 minutes.
The small village of Deifeld doesn't have much to offer. But Winterberg or Willingen are only a 20-minute drive away.

Winter camping
Hello,

We spontaneously went on a winter vacation to the Sauerland with our family (2 children + Havanese). The site is clearly laid out and therefore exactly what we like. Communication with the friendly operators was very straightforward and questions and requests were dealt with accordingly. The... pitches are large and the site is generally clean. The playground is relatively new and can therefore be recommended without hesitation. The location is pretty much between Winterberg / Willingen, so everything was covered for the "winter"! Sanitary always clean, to criticize perhaps the number of toilets.

The summer vacation is booked!!!

Positive ting
Modern sanitary facilities Terraced pitches friendly operators
Negative ting
no general rest periods no barrier
Highly recommended!
Happy that we were able to travel despite Corona, we arrived here after an overnight stay near Hanover. Since there are no general rest periods on the campsite, as we know and appreciate from other campsites, we were able to drive to our chosen pitch at 2:30 pm.
The pitches are located on the terraces... to the right and left. There are three terraces on the right and one on the left. There are two mobile homes on the left-hand side. We don't know whether they are rental properties or permanent campers. They certainly look great from the outside.
You can order bread rolls for the next morning until 5 pm. There are normal rolls, rye rolls and croissants. There are also fresh eggs in the room where you get the rolls.
The sanitary facilities are clean and modern. There is a washing machine and a dryer in the room with two sinks (4 euros each per wash load). We used this once as our stay was a bit rainy. Masks must be worn in all closed rooms, disinfectant and soap are available in sufficient quantities.
You can actually see a lot in the surrounding area, but unfortunately many things were closed due to Corona (visitor mine, glass factory).
We felt very comfortable despite the bad weather and the corona-related closures.

So well rested
Many thanks for wonderful days in the Sauerland. We had a pitch on the lowest level, so we were almost always alone. Although we traveled between Ascension Day and Pentecost, the place was heavenly quiet. We had delicious bread rolls in the morning. From the campsite, we set off every day on hikes on... the Rothaarsteig or other wonderful circular routes, which are available in huge numbers. A hiker's paradise! When we came back tired, large, spotlessly clean showers and our spacious pitch were waiting for us. The friendly operators made the vacation perfect! There is a large number of vehicles and a lovingly designed playground for children. Food, shopping and everything else you could want is available in the nearby towns of Winterfeld, Medebach and Willingen. We mainly used the buses.

We recently spent a week in Deifeld at the Opperland campsite. We were given a very friendly welcome. Operators are very helpful and always super friendly. Sanitary facilities are in top condition. No defects found or available. Bread roll service and other food is always kept fresh. We were very satisfied all round and can highly recommend this campsite.

Positive ting
Large pitches with water and waste water on site Quiet
Negative ting
Nothing going on for children aged 7 and over Construction site at the playground
Small and quiet
Small, terraced site with spacious plots. Each plot has electricity, water and drainage. You can hear the church ringing in the village at 7:00 am. There is a road within earshot, but as there is little traffic, it is not disturbing. The playground was a bit carelessly designed and not well maintained... during our stay. The trampoline was broken, there was a barbecue between the play equipment and a pile of scrap metal right next to the playground. The farm also looked a little untidy. The site is a bit out of the way, so you really need a car for sightseeing or eating out. The sanitary facilities were clean and well maintained. 1 washing machine - 4€ 1 dryer - 4€ Bread roll ordering service available WLAN free, but slow

Positive ting
Quiet, large pitches, clean sanitary facilities, good price, Willingen-Usseln-Winterberg close by
Negative ting
Little or no refreshment facilities in the village
Quiet family place
If you want peace and quiet and don't value a wide range of activities on site, this is the place for you. I was there for mountain biking. Access to tours in the direction of Winterberg, Usseln and Willingen is great and requires a lot of energy. The site itself has very large pitches, all of which... are easily accessible. Bread roll service is offered there. Sanitary facilities new and clean...very good. There are few to no places to stop for refreshments in the village, and none on the site. Therefore, bring your own car or bring everything with you.
