Positive ting
Nature, peace, freedom, the ocean—life can be that simple
Negative ting
The sandy paths aren't really suitable for older people or those with mobility issues; additional water stations would be nice,
Still one of the most laid-back campgrounds ever
Back here again after 17 years—everything’s just as it always was: plenty of space, dunes, beach, freedom! Choose your own spot—in the dunes or on the meadow. For us, this is camping at its purest! Nature and not much else. The wash houses have already been modernized; you’ll probably have to wait a... bit during peak season, and the walks to the wash houses can be quite long. WARNING: Bring a long power cord, and don’t be too reckless driving into every sand pit—otherwise you’ll need the tractor.
And you’ve got to love the wind!

Positive ting
Location of the venue Friendly staff
Negative ting
Cleanliness Small plots Backup power supply
Location isn't everything
I’ve been coming to this campground for many years, but since the operator changed, the place has gone downhill.
The staff at the front desk is super friendly.
The site has been partially divided into lots, some of which are far too small—a 7.5-meter trailer with an awning and a car takes up the entire... lot. In some cases, the layout of the lots makes no sense.
The circuit breakers for the electrical connections are also set too low. Every morning, the circuit breakers would trip.

But what’s a very serious issue is that cleanliness has deteriorated significantly—sinks were barely cleaned, and the urinals and floors were heavily soiled.

Positive ting
Very nice staff, free pool, free choice of pitches, dog-friendly
Negative ting
Almost too few sinks and sanitary facilities for this size
Beautiful campsite
We spent 2.5 wonderful weeks at this campsite and felt completely at home. The site is very spacious and is located directly above the dunes on a large, wonderfully wide beach - ideal for walking and relaxing.

The staff are always friendly and helpful and you feel welcome straight away. The free choice... of seats means you can choose your favorite spot without feeling cramped - there is plenty of space and freedom. There are also nice playgrounds for children, and the sanitary facilities were always clean and well maintained.

A really great campsite that we would recommend without reservation - we would definitely like to come back! 🌞🏕️🌊

Positive ting
Spacious dune area with swimming pool
Negative ting
Pitches mostly not parceled out and partly uneven due to the dunes. perhaps a problem in high season
Wonderful campsite in the dunes
We liked the place very much. The location in the dunes with access to the beach (high dunes, so a bit difficult, but doable). A great swimming pool, so also for bad weather.
Sanitary clean and good. You can easily explore the area by bike. Cycle paths through the dunes or along the road, but well separated.
It was definitely a great stay for us, which is why we stayed for 4 days on our round trip (with caravan). And we will definitely be back.

Wide spaces

Campground completely open and not guarded at all Stayed for two nights on September 2 and 3 with a Morelo camper and a Vespino in the locker. During the night the Vespino parked near the camper with padlock and anti-theft device was the subject of attempted theft. Found 50 mt away with the handlebars torn off and ruined vacation. 800 euro damage on a new Vespino inside a campsite that looks but is not closed. Shameful attitude on the part of the managers who advised us simply to call the police. End is never spoken to again. They handed us a pre-printed sheet in English with the address of the Police a sign that thefts are countless. Shameful! Never again!
Ms.
Never again in this very expensive campground. Far from the center and unattended after paying 50 euro/day. Plus 800 euro for new Vespino repair

Super nice team, great location in the dunes, good facilities especially for children, clean sanitary facilities
Negative ting
Very large and long distances
We will be back!!!
We stayed at the campsite for a week with three children and camped there. Right at the beginning, Lars gave us tips on where to pitch our tents on the site so that we would be protected from the wind. All in all, we had a great time. We especially liked the location right next to the dunes.

From registration to deregistration is a vacation!!! You look for a pitch because there are no pitches and you find one. To all the complainers, there are families with children on the site and also dogs, but it all fits together. And enjoying a sunset in the dunes like there is a dream. The walk to the beach on the second day over the dune can be done without an oxygen tent, it's worth it. If you want to learn to surf or kite, this is the right place for you.
Negative ting
If you're looking for some, you're sure to find something. We love this place.
This is camping as it should be!
Overall a nice place for the whole family!!!
Possibility for small purchases and bread shopping are available on the square.

Positive ting
Large space, free choice of seats
Negative ting
Windy
Windy stopover
Large pitch with free choice of pitches. Most of the pitches are on grass. Dune pitches only for appropriate vehicles (we were advised to do this at reception).
Due to the changing wind direction, it is not always easy to position the vehicle correctly in the wind.
The sanitary facilities are good and well maintained. The WIFI is unfortunately a bit of a matter of luck, but good in the sanitary building.

Owner
unfortunately never again
When checking out, I came across the old operator, had to guess what he would have said, had to be instructed on how to speak. I've known him for 20 years and knew that he should be treated with caution. Too bad, but there are still many other campsites in Denmark.

Huge space, poor WLAN, wide, car-free beach behind the high dunes. There is a suitable pitch for every need, which you choose yourself.

Positive ting
We did not have the opportunity to experience anything positive. When we called in advance with the information that we were coming with 2 dogs, we were told that a reservation was not necessary for the September period. When we arrived, they didn't want us because of the dogs, as there were already too many dogs. We are traveling with 2 sled dogs.
Negative ting
Dogs are not allowed.
Dogs not welcome !
Unfortunately not recommended for dog lovers, we were turned away on site because of the dogs. Unfortunately, we had not been told this by phone when we made our plans, we had also indicated the dogs. Too bad...

Lyngving camping simply super
Were there in July / August 2021.
Warm welcome by the reception. Very helpful with repeated leisure questions and problems. Well-kept sanitary facilities and indoor pool. Washing facilities were great. There is even the possibility to freeze food. Very dog-friendly. The campsite operator is nice and friendly. Will be going there again in 2022

The operator ....ohne Worte....aggressive, unfriendly, unhelpful
Operator destroys the positive overall impression
Incredible experience - With another operator one day again with pleasure
Review of Nr. Lyngvig Camping
Review still pending
Unbelievable - we got stuck in the sand on the day of departure. This probably happens more often, as you can choose a free pitch, which is actually great. I then asked for help... at reception. This was refused as the gentleman who was able to pull us out supposedly had to finish mowing the lawn. I asked for help for 10 minutes, which was harshly rejected by the site manager with the comment "Call the ADAC, we won't help today". This man is extremely unfriendly and unpleasant in his demeanor. He later came to the site with a small excavator and we were still stuck. He insulted me in the worst possible way and told me again that I should call the ADAC. I was left speechless. Many nice campers came to help so that we were able to leave on time. We will never return to this otherwise great site unless the operator changes one day. I have never experienced such behavior, the man lives from the guests...On one day he spoiled our vacation with his outrageous behavior....A refund and apology would be appropriate. A great pity.....Other than that, Denmark, the region and the people are wonderful.

To fall in love with
My girlfriend and I were here for the first time. The place was recommended to us. The journey there was a bit bumpy due to bad, stormy weather, but of course that's not anyone's fault. The staff are super friendly and were open to all kinds of questions. The site, which feels huge, offers something... for everyone. Hidden behind dunes, out in the open or really completely in the outback. You could almost say that spending the night here is an adventure. In the good sense of course! The sanitary facilities are in great condition and spread over the whole site in 3 houses. So you never really have far to go. Depending on which end of the site you park at, you are either very close to the fjord or the beach. In our case, we parked near the beach and were there pretty much every day. Once over the dune and you're already on the beach. The dunes should not be underestimated! It was our first time here and we are already in love with the beautiful area and the lovely campsite. We will definitely come back here again!

We have been looking forward to the day we go to Nörrelyngvigcamp for 14 years
We are glad to have found a campsite like this. The people are just like the site. Free and easy. Even our now grown-up children have to check in here at least once a summer. There is a friendly atmosphere and people are on hand to offer advice if necessary. If you don't like the site, you just have... to find somewhere else. The proximity to the sea, the dunes and the long walks with our dogs create a unique opportunity to relax. The kitchen area is great and modern, the sanitary facilities are top notch. We are looking forward to a few more days in late summer and to next year.

Seats freely selectable according to preference. Never experienced overcrowding. Close to Hvide Sande and the sea. Great swimming pool
Negative ting
Not for us
Free choice of pitch north of Hvide Sande
I can't understand the negative comments about the reception. We were treated in a friendly manner. The location is good. If you want, you can drive into the dunes, where most people want to go and it is correspondingly full. There is sand there, so it is possible to get stuck. If you are looking for... a bit more peace and quiet, you can stand on the grass towards the swimming pool. The swimming pool is great, by the way. The entrance fee is absolutely fine. The electricity boxes sometimes cover large areas, which can make a longer cable necessary if you are far away from such a box. You can find out the position of the WiFi transmitter at reception. The entire pitch is not covered. Even without wifi, we had good reception via the telephone network. The supply on the pitch is limited. Bread rolls are available in the morning. There is no restaurant. A good supply option is Hvide Sand with a great fish store at the harbor and other shopping opportunities. Easy to reach by bike. Departure is regulated very freely, those who have not yet left at 16:00 can still stay. We found the car traffic on the site to be a disadvantage, caused by campers who only stay for a short time and campers who drive to the toilet and to wash up. There were also dog owners who did not keep to the compulsory leash and used the camping meadow as a dog playground with throwing equipment. However, the operators are not responsible for campers who do not follow the rules. We will definitely be back because we always find a place here just the way we want it.

Positive ting
Great location
Negative ting
The operator couple is rude and insulting for no reason. W-Lan coverage miserable.
Great location, impossible staff
It is worrying that so many people before us have had this experience with the operator couple, especially the old man (you can read about it here and on other review portals, e.g. Google). We were also blindsided when we were suddenly made completely irrational accusations, accompanied by absolutely... outrageous slurs against me. When checking out, the woman first became unfriendly, but still responded to normal, reassuring communication. He then intervened and ranted, it seems to have a system: A completely untenable accusation is constructed and then the frustrated old man gets so worked up that he forgets himself. My only consolation: I only had to spend five minutes with him, he has a whole life of his own. About the site: The pitches are freely selectable, some are beautifully situated, but often extremely uneven or the access road is too sandy to even risk it. Wind is a problem, as the prevailing wind directions (SW, W, NW) are strongly accelerated over the dune, which is really exhausting in a tent or camper van. The "luxury" huts are overpriced and very spartanly equipped. If we hadn't had our van with us, we wouldn't even have been able to eat muesli or a salad - due to a lack of bowls. There was no kettle or kettle. Wi-Fi is a disaster, very weak and hardly available anywhere, let alone in the tiny "luxury" cabins. The only plus: the location and direct access to the beach via the dune. Our conclusion: Never again.
