Benjamin S.juli 20264.0Benjamin S.juli 2026Positive tingThe river and beach Private bathroom Very friendly staff Clean pool Great location Food in the restaurant was very good Dog friendlyNegative tingNothingLovely siteThe site is well located to discover the local area and even the sea is only 1 hour away.
We had a pitch with a private bathroom, so I cannot comment on the facilities.
The pitches are different sizes and not always level. The staff is very friendly and helpful and keeps the entire site clean and tidy....
WiFi reception was no problem at our pitch.
The true gem is the private beach at the river. We had loads of fun in there including the dog.
You can order fresh bakery items which was very nice. Shopping facilities in Ganges incl the market are about 15 to 20 minutes away.
For kids entertainment there is a park, so game activity and football pitch and a volleyball field (both in need of some TLC, but sufficient for children).
Access from the south along the D4 can feel daunting for some campers as the road is narrow and winding.
All in all we had a very peaceful holiday and look forward to coming back again soon.
We also enjoyed the chicken regularly visiting the pitch. It was far too hot for our dog to be bothered by them.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Warm welcome, good interpersonal skills... We very quickly felt at ease, surrounded by greenery close to the Hérault river. The campsite is quiet, planted with trees and has a beautiful swimming pool. What comes to mind is the "authenticity" of the site, the majestic gorges of the Hérault, and a team of professionals. All this in a form of harmony that feels so good... THANK YOU! We'll be back.Nice stayPerfect tent location.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Le Val D'hérault 3. september 2025Hello Eric,
Thank you for your kind review of our family-run establishment.
Together we experienced a small storm on the campsite, with a lot of damage to the trees but fortunately no material damage or injuries. As you point out, the commitment of the whole team enabled us to restore the campsite within... a day.
We're delighted that you found the warmth and friendliness that is essential to us in this natural and peaceful setting.
We thank you for choosing our campsite for your stay and are pleased that you found what you were looking for. Calm is a luxury these days in a world in perpetual agitation.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your opinion of our quiet, family-run campsite.
It's true that our entertainment stopped earlier than planned this year, because, as you can see for yourself, the campsite emptied out from August 16 this year, which forced us to adapt our planned... entertainment. However, as stated on our website, we do very little entertainment, and generally prefer to offer peace and quiet within our establishment. The same applies to the restaurant, which was closed at lunchtime because we were opening for nothing - no customers at lunchtime.
However, we will take your comments into consideration.

Thank you for taking the time to review our family campsite.
As far as the pool times are concerned, they are clearly displayed on our website and should not have come as a surprise to you, especially as we remind you of them on arrival. It's a question of safety, we need to keep a minimum watch... on the pool as many of our holidaymakers don't respect the safety rules (diving, ballooning), too many accidents happen in camping pools and we don't want that to happen here.
We also want to avoid intrusion by strangers during our break.
The river is a place where you can find shade and coolness during this closure. It's important, before booking, to check the conditions so that your stay matches your expectations.
