Friendly, helpful staff. I brought some tools… they came right away. Almost everyone makes an effort to speak German. English is definitely sufficient. The pool is great for kids up to age 12. It’s super clean and not over-chlorinated. The sauna and showers are all free. Great for dog owners—there are paths on the grounds and no one gives you a weird look. Bicycles are practically brand-new. Three different playgrounds help spread out the crowds. The inflatable cushions are awesome. The soccer field in the Kessel is great. You’ve got to like the party tent. The food there—and the live music during the season—was fantastic! Great access to the sea; sure, it’s a walk… but you’ve got time. It takes 15 minutes to get there! Annie’s Kiosk is easy to reach by bike, and Rema 1000 is five minutes away by car. Sonderburg isn’t far either…

The seasonal entertainment is for those who like it (-; They try hard to keep things clean, but there’s room for improvement. If you ask, though, they’ll send someone right away. The problem with the limited number of restrooms is well known. They need to address it! But it works because everyone uses any restroom they can find—it’s more of a German problem.

the sanitary facilities and clothing facilities could be cleaner, but is okey. Some of camping spots have a lot of open sand areas due to old campsites.

There is a lack of doggie stations or waste bins, at least in the dog meadow area, so that you can dispose of waste bags straight away.
