"Very well-kept campsite - Fortuna Camping am Neckar in Binau is a very well-kept campsite directly on the Neckar. Some pitches offer direct access to the river, some even have a jetty for mooring boats. Most pitches have electricity and water, but no drainage. The pitches are relatively level and the adjacent lawns are very well maintained, although tarpaulins and sheeting are not permitted on the lawns. Arrival is very convenient if you book in advance. Thanks to automatic license plate recognition, you can drive straight to your pitch from 12 noon on the day of arrival without having to register at reception. This is very practical. However, the reception is only accessible via a spiral staircase, which could be problematic for disabled campers. Unfortunately, there is no restaurant directly on site. Below the reception is a "Lounge & Snack" area, which turns out to be a vending machine station. The vending machines offer various Langnese ice cream varieties (Magnum ice cream €3.90), standard soft drinks such as Coke and Fanta as well as a regional beer for €2.50 per half liter. Unfortunately, the bread roll service on offer only offers poor quality baked rolls. Sandwiches cost 70 Ct. A little expensive, but the ordered sandwiches are delivered directly to your seat. A clear disadvantage of the site is the nearby B37 main road, which can be heard all day and unfortunately also at night. This is disturbing for noise-sensitive campers. During the day, motorcyclists with loud exhausts cause additional noise. The campsite has no influence on this, but you should be aware of it if you are actually looking for peace and quiet. If this doesn't bother you, you can enjoy the occasional passing barge and really enjoy the site. The free Wi-Fi leaves a lot to be desired, with only 2 MB/s download and 0.9 MB/s upload. I don't think that will be enough for anyone.

"Relaxing short vacation - great campsite, friendly staff help wherever they can, clean sanitary facilities, we had a very nice large pitch on the water. many excursion destinations. Good cycle paths. Mosbach can be reached quickly by bike in about 7 km, there great old town, restaurants and shops We would love to come back

"A beautiful week - The location of the campsite is simply perfect. You are right on the shore and can see the barges passing by at eye level. Those in need of peace and quiet can spend the whole day here, while those who want to be active can go hiking, cycling or canoeing directly from the campsite. The Odenwald offers some really beautiful tours. The discreet lighting along the shore should also be highlighted, allowing nature lovers to enjoy the starry sky at night. We were happy to make use of the bread roll service at the campsite and the rental bathroom. There are plenty of shops in Moosbach, just a few minutes away. The only serious point of criticism would be the sometimes somewhat narrow access roads to the pitches. The one or other bend could be made a little easier here

"Very nice place right on the water - We had pitch no. 7 right on the water. It couldn't have been better. Very friendly welcome. Traveling with a converted Fiat Ducato, 2 adults, no pets. Arrived spontaneously without booking. Was no problem. The small wash house further back is nice, modern and very clean. The pitch itself is very well maintained. There is a restaurant (Burger & Co.) directly on the pitch. In the village (5 minutes walk) there is a Greek restaurant. Both good. Absolute highlight for us. Bread rolls ordered the day before and brought directly to the pitch.

Situated between Heidelberg and Heilbronn, surrounded by the beautiful …landscape of the nature park Neckartal-Odenwald Enjoy your holidays in a unique location directly at the Neckar River. Relax on our generous pitches, many of them directly at the Neckar. Our Campground offers a friendly and open atmosphere. Chill in our newly decorated pool between June and August, or simply let your kids discover the large playground with trampoline and many more attractions for the young ones. For water sportsman we offer a large variety of options starting with a large jetty for yachts, row boats or canoes. You can even slip your own boat with our slip area. Our sanitary blocks are cleaned on a daily basis. You will find everything you need, free warm showers, washing and dish washing sinks and a chemical toilet waste disposal. Washing machine and tumble dryer are available for a fee. Please be aware, that during Jul 1st to Aug 31st the minimum stay is two nights.

Our campground is very easy to reach yet idyllically located. Directly at the Neckar river, centrally between Heidelberg and Heilbronn, only 7 km to Mosbach with a tourist office and all shopping possibilities. Railway station with connection to Heidelberg only …2 km away. Located directly at the German holiday route from the Alps to the sea, as well as the German historic and castle routes. From direction Heilbronn on route B37, please pass the campground (don't follow your satnav), follow the campground signage, exit to your left right after you passed the campground. Take another left and drive back to the Fortuna Camping entrance on the small road next to it. Coming from Heidelberg on route B37 take the exit right, shortly before the campground. Follow the small road next to the campground directly to the main entrance of Fortuna Camping.
