"Hallucinating garbage management - Unfortunately it reflects the qualities and evils of Sicily, the place the sea are beautiful, nearby there is a castle on the sea of rare beauty, but I had the misfortune to occupy the pitch near the services, and the bins . Poor me, unaware, I did not know what awaited me. The dumpsters became a mountain of garbage, which no one took care to remove, with temperatures near 35 degrees the stench became unbearable, flies at will. I repeatedly reported the situation to the managers of the campground, who replied that it is not up to them and that they are waiting for the garbage truck to pass through. I wrote an email to the mayor of Butera, without getting a response. The sanitary-hygienic situation is unsustainable and unworthy of a civilized country. I believe that the minimum conditions of hygiene are indispensable, in order to keep a campground open

"By the sea with a beautiful, endless sandy beach - Large site by the sea with a wonderful, endless sandy beach - with 2 larger rocks (Due Rocche). One part of the site for permanent campers, one part for tourists. Outdated but clean sanitary facilities. Store and restaurant. Staff were removing garbage and cleaning up in May 2016. Price in May 2016: 2 people ACSI 17€. Recommended overall

"Everything closed in May, unkempt, bulky waste in sight - Stayed for two nights in May 2016. 80% of the area allocated to permanent campers not yet present, pitches for campers and tents on gravel. Shady. Unfriendly ambience with garbage storage without privacy protection. Sanitary facilities only partially open, the condition is reminiscent of the GDR of the 70s - ancient, partly defective, the walls sloppily painted, algae in the foot wash basins. Beach littered. Individual clean-up activities were visible. The price for 2 people + caravan at 17 euros (low season) with the ACSI card was just reasonable. Two couples left shortly after their arrival! Never again! In summer possibly bearable with regular cleaning, but then probably noisy in the evening due to the many permanent campers.

"Lovely location and beach but the campsite. ... - One of the nicest beaches in the area in my opinion, well-stocked bar and market and courteous staff, great location and shady, wide pitches. Everything would seem fine except that: 1) the bathrooms, while quite clean, are dilapidated, 2) the garbage collection point looks like an open-air dump exactly in the middle of the campsite 3) garbage in every corner 4) most of the campsite is occupied by permanent residents and, for the most part, resembles an encampment or shantytown 5) you can't ride your bike after 9 p.m. and throughout Sunday but cars are coming in and out even late at night and the disco music doesn't stop until 2 a.m. every night. .... 6) washing machine 6 euros. .... Overall we had a good time adjusting to the above and the beach is really nice and comfortable .

" - The site makes a very untidy impression and offers some parking spaces for lorry trailers or similar; very little shade; simple sanitary facilities, which seem almost dilapidated and are mostly unclean (there was no cleaning in 3 days), the water is not drinking water; restaurant and supermarket closed;
