"Be careful, don't pay in advance! - Because the weather was so bad, it was rainy every day, we have to cancel our trip to DK, the change 25 days in advance and the cancellation later could not get any refund. We paid 100% without being there. So think carefully before you arrange the payment.

"Beautiful vacation - Despite the somewhat mixed weather, it was a very relaxing and restful vacation, even though our dog escaped and ran across the site. "Pure relaxation - Very quiet site with around 300 pitches. We received a very friendly welcome and were allocated a pitch. Our wish to be close to the sea was taken into account at no extra charge. The pitches, even in the first row, unfortunately only have a limited view of the sea, as there is a 50m wide strip of small dunes between the campsite and the Baltic Sea. Spacious pitches on firm grass that can withstand a downpour without getting muddy. Ideal for dog owners! There is a wooded area to the east for short walks, as well as a dog forest, which we avoided as foreigners to avoid any known problems with Danish legislation. There is a dog shower near the main building. In the reception there is a well-stocked store for the essentials, meat from the nearby farmer, as well as very tasty scoop ice cream and especially the "Flyvesandet Vafler". Wifi is free, but a code is required. At our pitch, 150m from the reception, I had a good connection with my laptop. Unfortunately, my wife had no reception with her smartphone. Barbecuing with charcoal is generally permitted, but may be prohibited if it is dry due to the risk of forest fires. Better to ask the boss beforehand. The sanitary facilities were always clean. Showers cost nothing extra and the water pressure is brutally good. The beach is mostly narrow and pebbly. 1000m further east, the beach is wider, without pebbles and hardly frequented. Because a previous writer complained about cloudy sea water. The water is clear in offshore winds and cloudy in onshore winds. This is the case everywhere.

"Lovely quiet site with great views in several places. - Despite the cold and rain at Easter, we enjoyed our stay. Everything is clean and tidy. Good playing conditions for children. If you like simple conditions in nature, and fresh air in the tent canvas/awning, then this is wonderful. There is a dog forest and plenty of beach to walk on. Absolutely no traffic noise, which is a plus for us.

"Unfortunately somewhat disappointed - For the price and the description we really expected more, the sanitary facilities were really in a bad condition and are in need of renovation, the cleanliness was unfortunately in the lower range, the location is great, but the beach and water quality were not convincing, a stone beach, piled up with sand, the water very cloudy and a lot of algae, packed our bags again after a day, the staff was friendly, but overall more for families, very lively and noisy

The child-friendly beach is just outside the nice campsite on Nordfyn and invites you to long summer days …with playing in the water and beautiful walks along the beach. You can also go for a walk in the forest or take a detour to Æbelø with its wild nature, where you can experience both sea eagles and fallow deer. City life in Odense If you want a bit of city life with shopping, culture and cafes, then Odense is not far away. Here you can experience H.C. Andersen's House, Den Fynske Village, Denmark's Railway Museum and the city center with its many shops and eateries. Camping on North Funen Here you will find a beautiful campsite on North Funen, which is located in extremely scenic surroundings and with lots of beautiful nature around you, just waiting to be explored. DCU-Camping Flyvesandet Strand is the one of the campsites on Nordfyn, which lies furthest to the north and, with its location right next to the water, is a gem for those of you who dream of a holiday in harmony with nature. Camping on Nordfyn thus offers plenty of opportunities for exciting and closeness-building experiences at home on the site. And from the square there is a short distance to most of the rest of the island in the middle. In just an hour's drive, you can get around to most major cities on the entire island, if you wish. There are plenty of experience options here. You can, for example, spend a day driving to Egeskov Castle, where there are experiences for the whole family with the Camping Outdoor Museum, vintage cars and planes, motorcycles, Dracula's Crypt, Piet Hein's labyrinth, nature playground, treetop hike and of course the castle with the castle park
