Positive ting
Location, campsites, friendliness of the staff
Negative ting
Dirt in the large restroom building
Beautiful location and campsites, but quite run-down
My husband and I (both over 70, campers for 50 years) recently stayed at this campground for the fifth time. The campsites, location, and friendly staff are a plus. Unfortunately, however, the restrooms looked neglected. On the weekend, the toilets were dirty (partly due to the guests, but they’re hardly... ever cleaned), and not once during the four days we were there was the floor in the large restroom area or the long hallways cleaned. Dead flies, spiders, and greasy corners are just gross. You hardly even wanted to touch the door to the restroom. It’s a real shame.

Gravel on the pitch
A good time
Large pitch, small store with bread, rolls and some survival supplies. Clean sanitary blocks,
small bathing pond, friendly staff, unfortunately the high-pressure cleaner was used extensively during our stay.

Positive ting
Interesting and varied surroundings for cycling - tours and MTB
Negative ting
none
8 days caravan stay
The campsite is ideally located for cycling tours to the surrounding spa towns. The MTB routes in the hills of the Teutoburg Forest are also interesting.

Even if the online registration didn't work, we received a friendly response to our telephone inquiries and the booking confirmation arrived immediately... by email. We were then able to choose another pitch on site.

Sufficiently large pitches on the tourist area, on the lawns the awning can be easily fixed with screw pegs. Easy access, as all the paths are paved, an advantage even in rainy weather.

The pitch was clean, electricity, water and gray water drainage were available and worked. Sanitary not high-end, but everything worked and was cleaned daily. The cassette drain would need an update.

Big plus: 1 all-inclusive price for pitch, people and electricity incl. shower + tourist tax

Positive ting
Easy to drive to. Wide access roads, simple pitches. Many permanent campers. Food is good.
Negative ting
The season is very restless as guests arrive on Friday and leave again on Sunday. Due to the weather, many places had to be graveled. Unfortunately the sauna is closed
Partly Partly
Everything can only get better. The owner really makes an effort, even if some of the staff leave something to be desired.

Weekend trip
We were there for a weekend and had a relaxing time on the Womoplatz, which is located in front of the campsite. The site offers clean sanitary facilities, electricity on all pitches, a supply and disposal station, bread roll service and breakfast is also available in the small bakery store. The pitches... are gravelled and grassed. You can get to the town quickly by bike (approx. 2 km), which has lots of restaurants, shops and also the thermal baths, salt pans etc. Small drawback: Some dog owners simply don't have their dogs under control (!) Otherwise there's nothing to complain about. We would be happy to stay again.

Perfect for WoMo
A very pleasant site that can be accessed 24 hours a day. The sanitary facilities are very clean. The pitches are on gravel surrounded by grass. The power towers are close enough without long cable laying.
The site is extremely quiet and has been a stopover for us several times.

Positive ting
-Cleanliness of the sanitary facilities -Play equipment for children -Friendliness of the reception
Negative ting
-Uncleanliness of the pitch -Empty promises of the groundsman -Very many permanent campers -Ballermann atmosphere -entry and exit restrictions
Groundsman does not keep to agreements
We stayed at the campsite from 27.7. to 1.8.21.
The cleanliness of the pitch left a lot to be desired. We first had to dispose of numerous cigarette butts. That was very disgusting. Then the groundsman came and told us that we should keep our caravan 1.5 meters from the edge of the pitch. However, these... special features should have been communicated when we checked in, especially as it was already completely aligned.
My wife drew the groundsman's attention to our "cleaning up" and he promised us a surprise.
Two days before departure, the groundsman ran into us and we reminded him again of his promise. He reiterated his promise to return the favor for the inconvenience.
We are still waiting for it today.
During the course of our stay, we noticed that the site rules were not enforced as vehemently on most of the pitches. Like boundary distance, tent carpeting etc..
Was this a demonstration of power by the groundsman?
Also, at public events, no attention was paid to the observance of the night's rest from 10 pm. For example, on 31.7.21 from 16:00-23:10 there was a continuous sound system in Ballermann style with between 80 and 90 db measured at a distance of approx. 65 meters from the sound source
Otherwise, the sanitary facilities were clean and there was plenty of play equipment for children.
Personally, I think the ban on entering and leaving during lunchtime and at night is antiquated.

Positive ting
Very nice place with swimming lake.
Negative ting
The showers could be better organized.... Things lying on the bench get wet quickly, you have to be careful where you put your dry things. Perhaps widening the partition would help.
Very nice campsite
We stayed at the campsite for just under a week with our grandchild (5). We were only able to arrive after 6pm, but that was no problem at all. Since we had let them know in advance, our car number had already been entered into the system - so we were able to drive straight to our pitch on arrival and... officially register the next morning. Of course with a negative corona test. It was all very straightforward.
If you want, you can pick up pre-ordered bread rolls in the store in the morning, which were extremely tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. In hall 19 you can order food and it was possible to watch the UEFA games (of course, nicely observing the Corona conditions).
The swimming pond is very nicely laid out and also suitable for smaller children. The swimming area is separated by a cord.
It was also completely uncomplicated to receive guests on the pitch. Our grandchildren from the area were also able to enjoy the site for a few hours.
We really enjoyed it and would love to come back again.

Friendly operators. Beautiful pitches. Lots of leisure activities for children and teenagers. Nice little swimming pond.
Negative ting
Long distances if you have to use another wash house because they are always cleaned in the morning, why don't they do it in the afternoon? Few seating areas and a somewhat gloomy connecting corridor that could be made a little friendlier.
Good and affordable with potential
The place is quite nice but for 5 stars a few things are still missing such as nicer wash houses and a small shopping facility would be great.

The campsite for carnival refugees
We liked the campsite very much despite the very bad weather. The pitches are tidy and equipped with ash (for the caravan or motorhome) and grass. The sanitary facilities were kept clean.
Naturally, there was nothing special going on during the travel period, but the facilities suggest that there is... plenty of entertainment on offer in summer.
The nearby town within walking distance is known as a health resort.
There is a wide range of excursions available, both on foot and by bike. The horizon is even wider by car.
We will be back again.

Location near Osnabrück, family-run campsite

Small square with charm
The check-in is very quick and everything that is important is explained to you. A very friendly reception staff awaits you. The sanitary facilities are very clean and in really good condition. There are several wash houses available in the high season. Bread rolls are ordered the evening before and... if you pay for them directly, you can pick them up in the morning from 8am, ready packed. The entertainment is great and even as a newly arrived camper you are immediately welcome. In the high season there are always changing offers. The site also has a small natural pond which is great for swimming. There is a small snack bar in Hall 19, where you can get something to satisfy your hunger at very moderate prices. There are also board games and a very large bouncy castle for the little ones. This place is well worth a visit.

Positive ting
Ideal for children, supervision of play areas in the hall, swimming pond, Kettcars to hire on site.
Negative ting
The restaurant was inflexible, if you wanted schnitzel you had to be there by 6pm, then only pizza. We went to Rothenfelde for dinner.
Large complex, lots of play and leisure activities for children and young people
Everything was neat and clean, our wash house was still freshly renovated. A bit of a mess on the pitch, there is hardly any structure to the pitches (it has just grown) For children simply fantastic but also a proud price. Fresh water system on the pitch was there but didn't work. Showers, washbasins and chairs with really hot water, including the possibility of cooking.

It was great
We were there for the first time as campers with a caravan. We really liked it, there is a small lake for children with a partition for non-swimmers. Playgrounds in various places. You can rent a private bath. You can then use this on your own. Sanitary facilities all well maintained and clean. We will definitely be back. ✌️

Short vacation over Ascension Day
We stayed at the campsite for 4 days over Ascension Day. Although the site was well filled (pitches were even fully booked), we never had the feeling of overcrowding. The sanitary facilities were modern and always clean (I don't know if they were renovated in between). The pitches were well maintained.... As were most of the permanent camper pitches. In the town of Bad Rothenfelde you can take a nice stroll in the spa gardens and visit one of the many cafes. The spa gardens of Bad Rothenfelde can be reached in a few minutes by bike. On Ascension Day there was a small party with a DJ etc. in front of the Vita-Bar. However, the music ended well before 10 pm. It would be nice if the pedestrian exit at the back was open at fixed times, then it would be easier to go out with the dog. The restaurant in the Vita-Bar is very reasonably priced. However, slightly overwhelmed when there is a large crowd.

The location is perfect for cyclists and nature lovers. The bread roll service was great.
Negative ting
If you don't want to cook for yourself, the nearest restaurant is quite far away. Pitches directly on the roads are very rough.
The sun made up for it!
Based on the description on the website, we had imagined more. The good weather over Easter helped us to use the pitch on the path and opposite the bouncy castle only for overnight stays. When we visited the beer garden on Good Friday, we were told that it was actually closed, but that there were some schnitzel dishes. Unfortunately, while we were eating, we sensed that the chef would have preferred to have the day off. Too bad .....

Child friendliness
Vacation with grandchildren
We spent 10 days here with our grandson (5). The entertainment for the children by Tommy and his team was great. The adults were also offered variety in the evening in Hall 19. The sanitary facilities were adequate and very clean. The swimming lake had top water quality. The site is characterized by... permanent campers. There could be more order. Some pitches are very dilapidated and do not make a nice picture. The restaurant Gewölbekeller was good average with huge portions. Friendly service. The place is highly recommended for a vacation with children.
