We've also covered quite a few kilometers on our bikes, and the weather doesn't matter at all as you can dress accordingly. The staff at the campsite are very friendly and helpful, the sanitary facilities are very clean... and are cleaned regularly. The campsite is definitely recommended.

There is no trace of Nordic coldness. On the contrary. We were allocated a reserved pitch and made aware of the pitch rules. Caravans should only face in one direction and keep your distance. Our pitch had water, waste water and electricity... on site, as do 90% of pitches. The large wash house has plenty of showers and toilets, which were always clean. The playground for small children and a restaurant on site complete the offer. Gas bottles can be exchanged on site (including Alugas). I cannot rate the restaurant. The bread roll service from 8-10am was impeccable. The groundsman is always friendly and helpful and does everything to keep the site in good condition. The location is unique. Direct beach access via boardwalk and dune (nudist & dog beach). It is also only a 15-minute walk to the town. Costs in the fall vacations 2022. 8 nights with 2 adults, 2 children in ne dog incl. electricity for 320 EUR. Washing machine and dryer 1 x each for 3,50 EUR.Automatisk oversatt.

The location is hard to beat. Only a short walk from the beach and/or the center of Wenningstedt. You can reach Westerland by bike via a beautiful cycle path in less than 10 minutes. The "site manager" is always available and takes care of any problems... immediately. The pitches are very clean and have their own electricity and waste water connections. The water supply is shared with a neighboring pitch. If necessary, you should therefore have a small water distributor with you to make this connection usable for both at the same time (this works without any problems). For very large vehicles (more than 8m total length + awning), many pitches are a little tight, as for safety reasons a distance of 3m from the nearest neighbor must always be maintained. This is also explained to you directly on arrival and monitored by the "site manager". The staff are generally very friendly and take care of the campers' needs immediately.
