Positive ting
Friendly welcome, Clean restrooms.
Negative ting
Outdated. Barren and dry. No shade
Overnight Campground
There’s one restaurant. We couldn’t get a table there. Everything was reserved. That’s really inconvenient when you’re just passing through and choose a campground with dining options.
The restaurant staff member wasn’t very customer-friendly either and wasn’t willing to work with us. We asked if we could take some food back to eat in our RV. “No way!”

Weekend trip
We spent the weekend at this campsite 🏕️. We felt very comfortable and used it as a starting point for cycling tours. this is still a campsite without frills.
The toilet 🚾 facilities and the shower room were modern, although you need a euro coin to shower 🚿. You can shower with it for 5 minutes. The time is good enough.
We would gladly stay again.

Positive ting
The helpful and very friendly staff, the new sanitary building, the location on the Main cycle path
Negative ting
I didn't find anything there
The customer still counts for something here!
Very friendly welcome, the staff kindly helped me set up my camper van, I had health problems and was very grateful for the help.
The garden next to the reception is tastefully laid out. Good starting point for cycling tours.
Will definitely come back here again. GüVo

Positive ting
Beautiful, flat pitches. Located on the banks of the Main. Clean sanitary facilities, showers and wash cabins. Good starting point for hiking.
Negative ting
Showers with 1 euro coin for 5 minutes. No store on site and also not within walking distance. Too bad.
Cozy, friendly, small place, very familiar
The site is beautiful, large, but not too large and crowded. The pitches are level, mostly easy to stand on without wedges.
Everything very tidy and clean.
"Old" toilet block very cramped. New building nicer and better equipped.
Restaurant on site, but expensive.
The owners of the campsite put their... heart and soul into it, are absolutely friendly and always in a good mood. We've been here several times now.... Always in a good mood and cheerful.
Bread roll service if ordered in advance.
Child-friendly, nice playground.
Dogs are allowed, leash is compulsory anyway.
Nice starting point for walks, longer hikes or excursions.

Positive ting
Very fast check-in, very friendly staff, bread roll service is perfect, well-kept sanitary facilities, good gastronomy, central location (e.g. Volkach, Würzburg)
Negative ting
We no longer think showers for a fee are in keeping with the times....
Cozy CP directly on the water (Main Canal)
Cozy, well-kept CP with new sanitary facilities, very friendly, helpful operators, nice gastronomy, ideal for water sports enthusiasts (small marina is available), the pitches are optimized (if you need more space and distance, you have to go elsewhere), ideal for hiking and cycling!

Positive ting
Surroundings and quarry pond Dettelbach
Negative ting
Small pitch, overpriced prices, the pool from the advertisement was closed and without water.
Cramped and far too small pitches
We registered in writing for a long weekend over Whitsun. We were promised a large pitch for our family tent. When we arrived, we were told that there were no 100 m² pitches on the site. We were allocated a pitch measuring approx. 7x5m. Our tent was approx. 60 cm away from the neighbor's side wall on... both sides with a view of a garage door. To barbecue, I had to park our car outside and then set up the barbecue between the neighbor's parked cars. The tight space caused stress with the neighbors. We later found out that there was a neighboring site with 100 and 120 sqm pitches. Never again at the Mainblick campsite.

Positive ting
Nice staff, nice small restaurant
Negative ting
Pitches, noisy permanent campers
Pitches too small, nothing for longer vacations
Reception very friendly and competent, there is a small restaurant with a beer garden and the entrance area is nicely laid out. The sanitary facilities are clean. The pitch itself is very poor. Everything is close together, even the smallest gap is filled. Corona does not seem to be an issue here, only... with strict monitoring of the FFP2 mask requirement in the entrance area. Some of the seats are so small that you can't even extend an awning because you'll be stuck to the person in front of you. You can't see anything else! There is no access to the Main unless you have a pitch directly in front of it, otherwise you have to walk across a pitch (you don't!). Some pitches are completely unstructured, there are not enough water points and they are very spacious. Many permanent campers are very loud and their behavior is unacceptable for a campsite. All in all, unfortunately, an unattractive place and the price is still quite high. Too bad, the area is very beautiful and you could definitely spend a longer vacation. Unfortunately, this campsite is not for those seeking relaxation.

Positive ting
For us halfway to our vacation. Therefore an ideal opportunity for an overnight stay.
Negative ting
Unfortunately you cannot pre-book 1 overnight stay
For us a good place to stay overnight
On our trips from the Ruhr area to the Alps, we have already spent four nights there. Unfortunately, we were turned away once due to full occupancy. We would love to come back. We particularly like the well-kept sanitary facilities and the good restaurant on site.

Positive ting
Directly on the Main Ideal starting point for paddling and cycling
Negative ting
Pitches clearly too narrow
2 weeks camping Mainblick
The site is located directly on the Main, just a few kilometers from the A3. Simply an ideal starting point for paddling and cycling. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities leave nothing to be desired. They are quite modern and were cleaned regularly. At the reception you can... order your daily bread ration, which is ready for collection at half past 7 in the morning and clearly placed. W-LAN is unfortunately only available for a fee (1,- €/4 hours). However, the time is not correct and seems to depend more on the data volume used. The showers are unfortunately also chargeable and were changed from 1 €/6min to 1€/4min in the men's area during our stay. The biggest disadvantage on this site, however, are the pitches, which are definitely too small. We couldn't move into the pitch we had reserved because otherwise we would have been sitting next to the neighbor on the awning wall. We were allocated a new pitch, which was supposed to be a bit bigger. But this one was also only between 50 and max. 60 square meters. Perhaps just enough for a motorhome pitch. But with a caravan and car (for which you have to pay extra at the site) it was just a makeshift. An awning is only possible if you steal a piece of the pitch from the neighbor with a small camper van. After consulting the reception, I was told that the pitch conditions might have to be changed. If the situation stays like this, we will never visit the site again. It's a pity.

Positive ting
Reception and friendliness of the staff. Pitches on the meadow. Very spacious and clean sanitary facilities. Quiet pitch.
Negative ting
It's a bit cramped, at least during the vacation season
Beautiful place
The pitch right on the Main was very busy during the Whitsun vacations. We were lucky and got two shady pitches on the edge. The sanitary facilities are to be praised, as is the friendly reception

Positive ting
Close to the highway, location directly on the Main, great sanitary facilities, restaurant, pool, bike path to the Maininsel to Sommerach...
Negative ting
No shopping facilities, not even in the village
well-kept square on the Main
We were pleasantly surprised! Place well maintained and clean. Sanitary partly new and everything super clean. Small pool was just as well maintained, but with strange opening hours. Registration on the second floor - long stairs up. The boss drove ahead with the scooter to the parking space, which could... be approached without maneuvering. Pitch with a view of the Main, where you could watch boats and ships. The path to go for a walk started right behind the caravan. Electricity right next to the pitch, water tap not far away, but hidden in a rear alcove. Almost enough for 5 stars, but unfortunately there are no shopping facilities apart from a bread roll service. Everything is also a bit complicated here: sanitary facilities spread over several buildings and floors, you need barrier chips to enter and exit each time - you get them from the boss (right! up a long flight of stairs), you have to buy food in the self-service restaurant next to the pool at reception and take drinks with you and pay for them straight away. The boss only likes cash and that immediately! For shopping you have to go to Dettelbach (a nice little town) where you can also go by bike. We took a short bike ride to Sommerach to the Main (wine) island. To do this, first cross the Main bridge (cycle lane) and if you pay close attention to the signs, you'll get there easily and won't get lost twice like we did. That's why we didn't specify the distance. lach After a little time getting used to it, we felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back again.

Positive ting
The price-performance ratio compared to other campsites
Negative ting
none
Friendly welcome, modern clean sanitary facilities, price-performance ratio ok
We have been coming to the campsite for many years and have always been warmly welcomed. The new toilet block with the separate disabled toilets and the laundry and dishwashing room round off the comfort. Unfortunately, I can't understand why some guests are upset about the charges for showers, electricity,... dishwashing and laundry, which can be found on the Internet or in all camping guides. If a so-called woman "Karin" wants everything included, she should choose another campsite, but not write false things in her review. Such people should rather stay at home if they cannot afford the fees. In any case, we are satisfied with the price-performance ratio of the CP.

Negative ting
Overpriced because you have to pay extra for everything. Very noisy place.
Does not deliver what the brochure promises
Swimming pool not cleaned in June and therefore closed. swimming pool was a main criterion why we had chosen this place. You have to pay extra for everything (electricity, shower, dishwashing, laundry). Nonsense!!!

Positive ting
Close to the highway, quiet and clean
Great campsite, also ideal for those passing through
Very nice medium-sized campsite close to the highway (only a few kilometers away). Quiet and located directly on the Main with a small jetty. The pitches for those passing through are not parceled out and some are so spacious that caravans do not have to be unhitched. The sanitary facilities are as good... as new and tiptop clean. There are euro coin-operated machines for hot water for showering or washing up. There are also washing machines and dryers, as well as a small pool and adjacent playground. There is a restaurant on the site with a covered beer garden. Bread rolls can be pre-ordered for the morning. We paid 19 euros for 2 people with a camper plus 3 euros for electricity. All in all, we were completely satisfied (well, the electric hand dryer in the men's toilet is a bit annoying if you stand at the front) and will definitely be back.
