"Very relaxing days! - We spent four very relaxing days here. The size of the pitches, enclosed by hedges/trees, was fantastic. We were very impressed by the many little things that make dog owners' hearts beat faster. For example, putting up a fence is expressly permitted, there is a dog playground with natural obstacles and constantly mown paths in the secluded wooded part of the site. And all for a rather symbolic dog fee. Outside, there are plenty of opportunities for walking / cycling, and there are garbage cans at each of the five site exits. Relaxed bread roll service in the morning (they taste good too!), trout smoking day on Friday, goulash cannon on Saturday lunchtime and camper evening meal (by appointment) in the evening. Despite the fact that we do EVERYTHING ourselves, everything is clean and tidy and we are friendly and welcoming to our guests. We are very happy to advertise for you and will definitely see you again! Greetings to friend... and ...Heinz from the Highlanders ;) (the dwarf gang)

"Relaxation, nature & service - everything is just right here! - Campsite Lausiger Teiche As soon as I made my reservation, I had the feeling that I had come to the right place. If - like us - you're looking for a few days of relaxation with the family, this campsite is the perfect place for you. The contact was friendly right from the start and we were given a pitch that was perfectly suited to our family needs. Location & surroundings The campsite is close to Bad Schmiedeberg, a town with a good infrastructure. Wittenberg and Torgau are also not far away and offer numerous excursion possibilities. A beautiful nature reserve and a bathing lake are within walking distance of the site - ideal for hiking, cycling or simply relaxing. The location was generally very quiet - both during the day and at night - and we were able to enjoy a wonderful view over fields. Some pitches even offer direct lake views. Facilities & awards The pitches are generously sized and mostly separated by hedges, which provides plenty of privacy. Electricity and water connections are located directly on or near the pitch. There is an older but very well-maintained sanitary building and a newer, modern sanitary complex. I was particularly impressed by the lovingly designed decoration and the availability of soap and toilet paper - something that is not a given on every campsite. The sanitary facilities were cleaned thoroughly every day. Leisure & service There is plenty for children to discover: a playground, table tennis tables, tennis court and even a playhouse, which is also ideal for smaller parties such as birthdays. A bread roll service provides fresh breakfasts in the morning, and there is also a snack bar, smoked fish, occasional barbecue evenings and seasonal festivals to make your stay particularly enjoyable. Atmosphere & hosts The hosts were consistently friendly, approachable and helpful -

"Unfriendly operator, outdated sanitary building, large pitches - The sanitary facilities are really old and smelly. The showers in the small sanitary main building are very small and you just get disgusted. No possibility to wash a toddler/baby properly. The sink in the main sanitary building for toddlers is very small and sometimes only lukewarm water is available. Other washing-up areas also take a lot of getting used to, but we only looked at them and didn't try them out ourselves. Shower system with 50 cent coin slot. 2 min. 50 cents and the time continues to run when you turn off the water. The owner does not have a guest-friendly manner (anymore). We had no extra requests but with every contact (arrival/departure) we got the feeling that we were not welcome. A tame manner that makes you realize that you better just keep your mouth shut, otherwise it gets out of hand 😵‍💫 although my husband and I are very warm people and always approach people with a smile and are friendly. Despite this, every second sentence we were approached as if we had done something wrong. We've been there several times. In the beginning, shortly after Mr. and Mrs. Plato opened, you were always greeted nicely (by the same person) to attract guests. The owner, on the other hand, is still a very friendly person, only Mrs. Plato should reconsider her friendliness towards guests. Good service is a must if you want to keep the guests you have won back then. No changes have been made, at least none that are relevant, which is why we won't be returning. The large pitches are still a positive feature. They've always been super nice, no matter which pitch we've been on, they've always been XXL in size.

"Favorite campsite - We have been campers for 54 years and have traveled all over Europe. Rarely have we found so many advantages combined. The campsite is in a beautiful location: swimming, hiking, cycling - everything on the doorstep. No loud radio noise on the site, no traffic noise. The pitches are spacious and sheltered. The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean. There is a tasty range of food for camping guests. The operators can only be praised: friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Wir freuen uns, Sie nach der Neueröffnung im Januar 2014 auf unserem Campingplatz begrüßen zu dürfen! Alle folgenden Angaben beziehen sich auf die Zeit nach der ersten großen Renovierungsphase, also voraussichtlich ab Frühjahr. Viel Spaß beim Lesen wünschen Sandra Plato …& André Otto! Unser großzügiger, gepflegter Campingplatz mit altem Baumbestand bietet allen Campingfreunden einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Stellplätze für Wohnmobile bieten einen direkten Blick auf den See. Durchreisende Gespanne können auf unseren Etappenplätzen übernachten. Gruppen finden für ihre geselligen Treffen viel Platz auf unseren freien Wiesen. Der Elberadweg führt direkt zu unserem Platz, zur Übernachtung bieten wir 2-Personen-Zelte oder ein Bett im 6-Betten-Hostel und eine kleine Ferienwohnung an. Für Ihren eigenen Wohnwagen stehen Ihnen Standplätze mit bis zu 200m² Größe zur Verfügung. Echte Naturfreunde stoßen in dieser Kombination von Naturpark, Naturschutzgebiet, Elbauen und Biosphärenreservat auf eine seltene Tier- und Pflanzenwelt. Aktivurlaubern wird ein breites Wander- und Radwegenetz geboten, ebenso Kanu- und Paddelangebote auf der Elbe sowie Klettern im Rubiconpark. Vielfältige Gesundheits- und Wellnessangebote der Kurstädte Bad Schmiedeberg und Bad Düben lassen Sie den Alltag vergessen. Oder Sie tauchen ein in die geschichtsträchtigen Städte Torgau, Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Leipzig und der Bauhausstadt Dessau !
