"Perfect for the Hockenheimring - Very pleasant and friendly atmosphere. We felt at home. Ideal for a trip to the Hockenheimring! (Take your bikes with you - then you can easily get to the big event) What unfortunately does not work at all: Closing times of the access road e.g. 12-15 o'clock!!!! So you can't leave the site by car for no less than 3 hours in broad daylight! The shower time is very short and the water pressure is rather modest (when fully occupied, it sometimes only dripped from the tap) But the sanitary building is newly built, beautiful and well kept clean. Small faux pas in the planning: dishwashing only for the ladies... :-) ;-) All in all, I would come back any time for a short trip.

"Terrible camping - We have been coming there for years but 2022 was really the last time. Since 2022 there is another owner in it. I don't think the campground will last long under this regime. At 8 p.m. a very thick chain lock went on the door and it didn't come off until the next morning. It did not feel safe to me. The dishes in the restaurant the food is delicious and the service very friendly. The campground is close to the highway that is also an advantage but on the other hand the campground has become very expensive. Especially since everything is outdated and not clean.

"Never again - It seems that this campsite is lost since new ownership started. To high price (almost EUR 40) for what you get as a pass through traveller for one night: A place where you almost step in the neighbourgs caravan when you open you door, arriving after 20.00 means extra charge (EUR 10), no showering possible after 21.00, no WIFI etc. So, stayed here for the last time and left early to never coma back again. P.S. The restaurant is reasonable for a camping site, but more something in between a restaurant and a snack bar. After a long day of travelling convenient enough.

"Not nice and not in order - We booked a pitch at this campsite for four nights at the end of May. We transferred the entire invoice amount of €160 in advance for the reservation. The campsite's regulations stipulate a four-week notice period after payment, after which no refund is possible. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our stay at short notice due to my wife's illness. Although we could have provided proof of my wife's illness in the form of a medical certificate, we were denied any refund or credit for a later stay. My request for a credit note for half of the overnight stay was also brusquely and very unkindly rejected. The campsite has recently been under new management. The new manager obviously has little understanding for her guests and stubbornly sticks to her rules without any understanding for our plight. Hospitality is obviously a foreign word for this lady, we will not be visiting the campsite again.

"Never again - We spent the end of May on this place (reserved 4 nights and had to make complete prepayment) We arrived at 11:30 because we only had a short drive, were very unfriendly received by the new boss because we were too early! Nevertheless, we were not allowed to move into our pitch because arrival is generally only possible from 3pm. Although the entire campsite was largely empty, we had to wait 3.5 hours in front of the barrier. But that was not enough! In the evening we had to realize that already at 9 p.m. washing-shower and rinsing rooms are closed and therefore no longer accessible, only the toilet rooms are then still accessible. So if you want to devote yourself to personal hygiene after 9pm, you have to do this with cold water at the hand basin in the toilets. As already noted, the campsite was as good as empty, yet we were assigned a pitch on our arrival, we had to change the pitch again on Monday for another way of woodworking although the pitch was still empty. Another more than strange regulation is the fact that the gate is closed at 6pm in the evening. Arrivals can still drive onto the pitch until 8pm if they call a posted telephone number. It is hard to believe that this service costs 10 euros. We have experienced how Dutch guests, who have regularly used the site as an overnight stay in the past, stood in front of a closed gate before 8 p.m. and nobody could be reached via the telephone number provided. Ultimately, these campers only had to find another campsite for the night. The new owner must be described as very unfriendly in her small-minded, stubbornly rule-bound actions. She is unable to show any empathy or understanding for the needs and concerns of her guests, let alone make an effort for the well-being of her guests. We will never visit this campsite again, which offers nothing for the money.
